Noble Dolls Asella Tiny Radicelle Rhubarbe Discussion Part 1

Your girls look awesome! So nice to see pictures of them. Sadly there won't be pictures of mine. I only took box opening photos yesterday at my friends place and I forgot Radicelle there when I left... Oops... To be honest I'm not in love with her at all. Her color is lovely but not what I expected and I was surprised that she had double joints. Must me my error with the joints for not looking close enough. And probably also with the color, it's so difficult when I can't go back to stare at sales photos all the time. But anyways I am glad to hear everyone else seems to love their girls ^^.

 

Kaede: Did you find that you liked the joints at all? Could she move okay? What about them and the colour didn't you like? I'm so sorry to hear your girl was not what you were expecting at all. I know that if mine doesn't turn out for me, I'll be heartbroken after such a long wait.

My girl hit customs as of 9:30pm tonight. I'm hoping she'll be released tomorrow and delivered the next day.

 

Make clothes myself? Ha! I might have had 5 months + to wait, but I wouldn't have been able to make clothes so nicely even in that amount of time. I work too much and I never actually get around to making anything, so I just shop Etsy for doll clothes!

Azuki is wearing a Blythe dress by Minijijo and bloomers by edhelwen, both on Etsy.

Kaede - I'm sorry she wasn't what you were expecting! I wasn't expecting the double jointed elbows either, and they are different from the double joints I'm used to. I don't mind them though, and I love the way she poses. I'm sure you'll be able to find her a new home if she just isn't right for you.

 

Oh? So Radicelle can wear blythe clothes! :O ? Awsome!!

 

Asella has a Reglisse available on her etsy >_< How I wish I could grab her. She looks gorgeous!

 

Only tops - and probably only if she has the small bust size. Dresses obviously are pretty short compared to how they fit on Blythe. Azuki's bloomers were made especially for the Radicelle body.

Ha! She was already sold by the time I looked! Definitely gorgeous!

 

I was just very surprised by the fact of having doble joints. Aesthetically they are not as pleasing as singe joints but the little hadling I did yesterday she posed very very well. I also liked the feel of her resin. Her tone/hue was too warm for my liking when I was imagining cold puprlegrey. Her color is very lovely in person and brighter than in photos which was great but the hue was not to my liking.

It's great to hear that you love yours! Double joints can be very handy and they do help with posing. I'm pretty sure my single jointed girl cannot do all the poses Radicelle could.

Now that looks more like what I was expecting only a little lighter! And she is gone. Ahem.

 

That's so sad Kaede that you didn't like your Radicelle in the end! Are you going to sell her then or trying to bond? Would be so lovely to see her as you would style her! But though, now i'm glad i didn't buy that colour of Radicelle then, i wouldn't probably have bonded with her eather, White colour is just great for me.

 

Talking about sales is not allowed here so I will not say anything of that matter here ^^. But thank you so much for your compliments! I will try to make some clothes for my Rhubarbe though so I could take some pictures of her. She still doesn't have any clothes of her own besides the dress she came with. I was so busy with ldoll sewings and now my classes are taking all my time!

Are you getting your girl before weekend Jessykka? I would love to see more pictures of everyones dolls. Haven't seen too many ws ones here either.

 

I'm so sorry that you're not bonding with your girl, Kaede. May be you'll warm up to her.

Oooh! I'm so glad that the bloomers by edhelwen fit! I was thinking of getting some for my girl but I wasn't sure if they would fit. She's just wearing a blythe dress at the moment so she's a bit revealing. xD

I'm so glad the clothes I had for her fit her

 

She has a pattern for Rhubarbe and Radicelle, so just ask for them to be sized for her! They also fit very nicely on Doll Chateau Hilary in that size.

 

Kaede: Oh, I understand about the jointing! I can't wait to see them, myself -- sometimes double joints don't pose as well as single joints, so I'm a bit nervous, HA HA! - and I know what you mean about skintone! I was hoping for a more cool purple, myself, but I'll hold judgement until I actually see her!

Nimrod: Oh god, Laura definitely looks like a diva! How amazing! I love seeing her feet poke out from under her dress! So cute!

Edit: My girl is at the main postal depot! If she isn't delivered this afternoon, it will be tomorrow for sure! Hopefully no customs! :0

 

*Sigh*, i'm so frustrated, my Radicelle isn't yet even in finland! D: She was sent only day after others, and till taking this much more time.

 

Aand radicelle is stuck in customs now! =__= oh well, i get her early week, hopefully!!

 

I'm sorry your girl is stuck in customs! I got my girl yesterday and she is lovely, but bigger than I imagined! I was also, like Kaede, expecting a different hue, although I still like this one, and it will actually work fine for what I want.

I have absolutely zero clothes for her, ha ha ha.

 

I think my Radicelle didn't get caught by customs ! Tax free yeah \o/
She'll reach my parents home next week, and my hands in 3 weeks...

I'm worried about the resin color now, would someone be kind enough to take a daylight pic real close ? Or next to some other skintone ?

I kinda like the color even though it really is different from Jpopdolls pictures. The real color is somehow more... transparent and kinda light pink...
