Noble Dolls Asella Tiny Radicelle Rhubarbe Discussion Part 1

Feb 1, 2013

    1. I love the face of the Rhubarbe sooo much but a bit less the body... I sold mine because of this but I can't help thinking "Oh dear, she's so cuuuute!". I don't know if someone tried to put the head on a body a bit more thin but that would be so great ! :D

    2. i hadn't thought of that... but then i like the body as much as the face ;)

    3. For me personally, the body is one of the best things about these dolls! I love that they are classified as tiny dolls, but have mature bodies. And awesome curvy bodies, at that. I love their hips and butt :)

    4. yeah really, if i was changing anything i would just like to have extra optional hands and elf ears. i love her hands but it's nice to be able to change them up for different poses. but i can understand why it might be hard to have option hands with so many different skin tones

    5. I don't change hands much, so I am okay without those options, but I am with you on elf ears! I would have loved my girl to have elf ears.

    6. the coloring is really pretty on her, and from the front you cant tell. i wonder if one of her littlefee corsets would fit better?

    7. I've seen the littlefee corsets on Noble Dolls and they always look a bit big for my taste even on the larger bust girls. That's just my personal preference though.

    8. hmm, maybe i'll just have to try making one in the fall then when i actually have time to sew again....one more thing to add to my huge list of fall sewing projects!

    9. Oooh! Thanks for sharing this - I have been wondering about some of the Blythe clothing! And I really want a corset for my girl :)

I am so pleased I bought this doll. I just love her! I am really struggling to name her, though...

    10. mine doesn't have a name yet either...

that's a cute dress on her. what size is it?

    11. I managed to get my first Asella girl today! a dark gray skin Rhubarbe that I adopted with the help of the wonderful Grace of Jpop :D I am really struggling to find things that fit her though!

    12. looser blythe dresses work. they are just a bit shorter, and some peopl also use yosd sized clothes

    13. I'm not exactly sure what size it is. I bought in 2nd hand off the marketplace and it was just classified as yosd. It looks homemade to me, so I think the maker may have made it with a particular doll in mind. Lucky for me its a perfect fit for my girl!

Here she is wearing a a Blythe dress. The only reason this fits her is because, being a crochet bodice there's a little but of give in it, and though it does up in the back it does gape a little bit. I love it on her, though! It is short, though - but I love that look.

ArouraAnn - congrats on getting your girl! They are gorgeous dolls!

    14. my girl has one blythe dress that was a bit loose on the blyhte doll modelling it. (the skirt is really full) the bodice is just a bit too snug on rhubarbe, but there is room to move the snasp over a smidge and then it should be fine. i want to do that before she wears it so it doesn't rip , but i would probably have replaced it anyway. the maker put a black snap on a thin white dress instead of using a silver or clear one that wouldn't show! :(

    15. I have finally given my Radicelle a name of her own . . . Estelwen, which means hope. (I think I'm secretly hoping for more of these dolls hee hee) Her dress is one of my Blythe dresses with a pair of bloomers underneath, but eventually I want to dress her in an elfin costume. The wig is a JPop, still not sure of this yet . . . opinions valued here. :)

    16. great outfit, and since i love red hair on any doll, of course i like the wig. are those ruby red bluette shoes?

    17. Hey, thanks auntbear. Yes, they are Model: EH0021A, although I originally bought them for my LittleFee, I thought they would be better with an elf outfit.

    18. Xanadu - that's a beautiful name! I'm still debating my girl's name, but I'm having trouble. At this stage I'm leaning towards Lyra but I'm not 100% sure...

    19. Melinda it took me 9 months to decide on a name and it wasn't until I decided on how I was going to dress her that it came to me. Perhaps if you play around with clothes and get the look you want for her it will help you decide. I must admit I really like your Rhubarb's soft look that you have achieved with the wig. BTW is there a story that goes with the name Lyra?
