I have to admit at one point I really wanted a green Rhubarbe... but I sold my only other blue yosd when ordered my blue rhubarbe... I think I will have to see the green ones to decide...
Looking back at the picture, the candy blue was already quite aqua... with a little yellowing they might have become green anyway... There will probably be a few extra...
I'm going to stick to the blue, but I would be curious for pics of the green. I think they'll have to post some so people know what they're getting for their money.
I don't think she'll fit in the smaller blythe style clothes. Her butt barely fits in thr barbie dresses and her hands are bigger, so need elastic or wider arm holes. The shoulders are too wide and the bust to big, so closures need adjusted on barbie clothes. What really fits is the hight and the waist, since she had such a tiny waist for a yo sized doll. those overalls are perfect for her! where did you find them? i just read about the blue/green mixup. that really sucks for everyone who was waiting so long for their doll. i don't collect fantasy colored dolls so it doesn't help me but i bet there will be a sale of in stock green doll go up once everyone who ordered blue has had the chance to decide whether they are going take blue or green. i wonder if they will be put up for a discounted price since they were a mistake?
I asked if there was any possibility of a discount or layaway if we wanted both colors and asked a few other questions, no response yet. I'm sure it's bad for them but we have also been waiting. .. 7 months now? Plus however long it takes to make the blue ones?
can you post them when when you get them please? i'd love to see even if i'm not getting a green doll
I got a response that the green are not for sale, only as a replacement. I think I will keep my blue girl and hope she is perfect when she finally arrives! They sent me photos but I'm not sure it's okay to post them here?
How is posing on these girls? Been wanting one, but I'm always afraid of the unfamiliar. And every time I start thinking about other artists/companies dolls Fairyland cracks the whip!!!
well there are few companies that compare to fairyland. (i have more fairyland dolls than anything else) but rhubarbe has her own charm in the the way she looks and the adorable shape of her body, face, hands etc. i found that after i wired her she posed fairly well.
Thank you auntbear. Can anyone give me a photo comparison of Rhubarbe standing in between a Minifee and a Littlefee please? (I'm trying to guess measurements for dresses and I'd love a visual, especially next to minifee). ty
[MENTION=70023]Ballerina[/MENTION] sorry for the poor cellphone quality its raining here but it at least gives you an idea. the only minifee i had that was dressed and not in high heels was my m-line who is 1cm shorter than a regular (a-line) minifee but hope that's ok? Wow, thank you auntbear!! I expected her to be a little more in between the two, like the same height taller than Ltf and the same height shorter from Mnf. But she's much closer to Lft. Thank you for the photo!! Anyhow, I see that she's the perfect height for my dress ideas. I want a blue/gray skin Rhubarbe but it will probably take a while to get one; she'll be perfect for a character I haven't been able to shell. Her height is perfect for the laces I have! Now I'm excited and have to go make myself crazy since I have no idea how frequently Asella runs preorders or what colors she'll offer.
