Noses!

I think the noses are very important, Iple have a good range of different types.

 

Noses are actually a big point for me, I can't buy a doll if I don't like the nose, and I generally go for a thinner nose with a little point to it.

 

I Love SouDoll RyuCine because his face is so unique but that nose makes me want to see him more and more. I cant wait till I get him hopefully soon. The big nosed guy is so different from other dolls Ive seen.

 

One of the reasons I love FantasyDoll Dane so much is because of his nose. I never thought of it before,but the nose really is an important feature for me.

 

Out of all my dolls, my Nabarro's Boy Har is my favorite nose-wise.

My Dollzone Megi probably has my least favorite nose. His nose has nearly no definition to it.

 

In searching for a shell for a male OC I'm finding the noses make or break the feel of the character.

I noticed when looking for a MiniFee (as they're supposed to be amazing posers) that most of their noses look child-like, as if the cartilage hasn't fully formed. An exception is El, his nose could pass for older teen. I considered a male Mirwen because the expression and lips look right, but I couldn't get past the nose, it does not fit the character.

On D.O.D. I fell in love with Orrl. From the front. From the side view...Wow, that's a prominent nose! After looking at him more I really like him, imposing nose and all.

Iplehouse has a bunch of good noses, part of what makes their faces so realistic.

 

I think the minifee shiwoo also has a rather distinct nose, which is not childish. Carl too. I love my shiwoo's nose >w<
The chloe also has a very distinct shape, the narrow bridge then it flairs out.
The nose is very important to me, I like interesting noses and a variety of shapes, I think the nose really set the whole tone of the face, just as much as the eyes do. My favorite nose is the nanuri ' 07 though. I can't explain the shape but if you see a top view, its just such a lovely nose.

 

Personally, I find a lot of noses too pointy and tiny for my tastes. They look a bit too anime-ish for me. My favorite noses on dolls are probably mostly on DIM dolls, like Laia.

 

And I thought I was the only one who was concerned how noses look on BJDs.
I must say that one of the things that worried me about bying my first doll was the nose. I loved the Homme Ducan but when I saw owner pictures I often thought that he had a rather long nose. It was the only thing that always made me doubt about him. But seeing him for real I do not think that anymore. I love his nose. It is pointy to me but that's how it fits him.

 

Hmmmnn...yes, it's funny how we relate our own noses to then ones we like or don't like on our dolls. ( I wonder if other doll and human parts are subject to the same ...ie breasts, hips, bums.)

That said, I love Iple's range of noses. I mean just look at the BIDs, a whole range of ethnically inspired nose ( and eyes, features and so on) But since we are on the discussion of noses, I give Iple the prize.

Every time a sculpt first comes out I am always looking for a profile view of his or her face to see what the nose looks like from the side. That's really important and I have to say I love IH Jessica's nose and although I think Rexy has a rather unrealistically perfect nose, I still love it. And my IH Bordy has the cutest little rounded nose that she wears with pride. And who couldn't resist IH Elin's little button nose?

I've been looking into buying a boy now for almost a year and the thing that has stopped me thus far had been the nose!
I have always been extremely picky about noses in art and I've always leaned toward the more prominent, unique noses. I think the nose is a key feature to our individual faces and I think they're beautiful.

So, I have been looking for a male SD or MSD with a wonderful nose and I am definitely going to look up all the suggestions in this thread to help me track down the one I've been looking for!

 

I'm another person who loves nose shapes like Chrom's, as well as some of the stronger, more naturally-shaped noses that have been appearing on BJDs in the years since I've been into them. That said, I really do love Husky's nose! It's definitely stylized, but for some reason I've always liked it.

 

I desperately wish more dolls would be given aquiline/Roman noses.

 

Button noses! I'm all about button noses. Preferably with freckles. My favourite "nose company" would be Iplehouse.

When I look at buying a doll, they have to have a good nose. I like dolls with either a boxy nose or a bigger nose. I don't really like thin and pointy noses.

 

Hmm i have dolls from different companies with all sorts of noses.
But over the years I have totally fallen in love with the big sharp noses of my dollshe boys

Actually, the reason why I chose the doll that I'm getting is because (along with her elf ears and beautiful face) I absolutely fell in love with her nose.

It's kinda weird but I adore how it sticks out a little. Something about it makes my heart giggle and feel all

 

Oof, noses are a big decisive factor in whether or not I like a headsculpt.
If a sculpt has that small thin tall pointed anime nose I can't touch that doll, I'm just not interested.
I don't like the squishy looking Unoa nose because of it's strangely small nostrils in comparison to its fleshy nose, which is probably the exact opposite of the tall thin anime nose I dislike, but that nose annoys me a lot less and I actually have an Unoa face plate on my wants list.
DIM doll noses are my favourites so far. I bought a DZ Raphael because I love his nose.

 

I don't know about the best resin nose out there but I do dislike most of Fairyland LTF noses, they are just too small, like when you pinch clay with your fingers and just a tiny amount rises, I don't know if I explained well XD in spanish we call it nariz de pellizco. So literally pinch nose.

 

I love natural noses. So when there's a younger-looking bjd like a Lati she should have a nose that fits to her face. So basicly baby-face, baby- nose.
But when it comes to adult-looking bjds I prefer tiny round noses, because they are just so cute
Personally I love to poke the noses of my girls, so they have to be tiny and cute
