Honestly (I hope not to offend those who like her?) I laughed really hard when I first saw her. And then in my mind, I thought of the Hunchback, "Go back to Notre Dame!"
Ahaha I laughed when I saw her too! But it was more of a "Ahah ha... What were they thinking when they made that?" she's just so... bitter and squishy! Like she's been whacked in the head with a shovel... Kinda makes me think of Little Nicky xD That being said, I don't think I could ever come to love that face. o_o;
Um... yeah. For sure she's no juniper snowpea, and i'm thankful for THAT!! Just seconding the likes of petitefilou and linakauno... not for me. At least other molds are versatile, you know? Sometimes (it's rare, but really, sometimes) Juniper Snowpea looks sad. She's got crabby, annoyed, sad, wistful... I'm not a fan. Eek. Glad I didn't look at this at night, or I'd have nightmares galore. One quick look at the one pic was enough. St least Juniper Snowpea is CUTE. Even when crabby... she's CUTE.
they kind of remind me of like pugs. so ugly they are cute or so ugly you'd burn it acid. you either love them or hate cause it's your taste or not. i have tinies also, but to me i just find the face to be ugly. the shape of the head and lips just isn't to my appeal. i've seen one or two that was like oh that looks ok or good, but i still would never own one. and i also don't mind murderous intent dollies cause some of my dolls i try to paint them that way.
From the looks she's giving you, you are VERY lucky she doesn't have a stinger on that costume! These little girls are so darned cute...and they look pretty miffed at anyone trying to take advantage of their cuteness!
I love the grumpy little toddler look of Nari-Pons. I think the thing that looks odd about them is the shape of the eyes, but that can be remedied by softening the shape with faceup, so they look more human and less alien-like. But I think it's cute that they have an attitude.
