1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Obitsu 60cm Male Optional Chest Piece

Aug 16, 2005

    1. How did you ruin it? It's a very simple process. Also, there is an online page at Parabox that gives the complete directions (with photos) of how to take one apart. I've done it several times. Also, they have replacement parts. So, depending upon what part you 'ruined', it might be possible to replace it. Hope you can get her fixed!

    2. lol! I'm just special I guess! I did it a long time ago before parabox existed. I bought them from Deleter when they only had a Japanese page up. And I tried gently to pull the skin off & when that didn't work I yanked & the doll popped. It is one of the reasons I am so afraid of modding one of my resin dolls - harder to replace than a 200$ body.

    3. I am so sorry to hear that. :( You might can fix her though with very little cost. Most of the parts are replacable.. if it is a internal part. You can find them at Parabox or also request that Junkyspot order them for you. This doll is very easy to take apart, but one needs a hair dryer. If you had used a hair dryer to soften the vinyl then it probably would not have 'popped'. I acquired my Obitsu from someone and it was broken. I fixed it myself even without purchasing a part, but I did improvise with the part needed. Since your doll is an older one, I don't know if the parts are the same or not, but you could check. :-) Please don't be scared. .. since you have everything to gain.

If you need the link to the parts you can search the Parabox site or you can go to the Yahoo Group called ObitsuOnly and get the link and also find other 'stuff' and discussion about the Obitsu. :daisy
