Oh no! I did what I said I wouldn't!

I thought one was enough, and now I have a huge wish list going.

 

Yea, like first i started off saving for my DZ Mo'wen, but then I keep seeing pictures for my KDF luts Ani and it makes me want her more! Now I go on the MP and find this ADORABLE Cherry KDF Luts girl and I want her now too even if my sister doesnt want her!

m(_ _)m ..........I was also looking at some SD size dolls too @_@;

 

*sigh* yes... I wanted a Volks Kakeru eventually, since I don't even have a body for my Afi and he's not in my plans, but no, I caved to a 6 month layaway that was too good to pass up >,< I'm probably even going to cave and bring him home earlier than that. NO willpower for that cute face I tell you!

 

I said I would never juggle more than one layaway at a time.

I just paid off one of three. -_-

 

I've been trying to save for a Lusion Dahlia....and I got completely sidetracked and bought a Volks Bianka head...and I couldn't leave the head floating (that just doesn't work around here)...so I bought a body too. So now I've got some more work to do!

 

Yep it happened to me. Those darn limited editions I found a doll I had been in love with but thought was sold out and had to get her. Now she's on her way to me. Oh well, I just changed my doll plans and the characters in my story a bit and it will all work out

 

I sold my MSD planning on making my dolly family SD size only, but somehow I managed to order a yo-sd last night!
I still have no idea what happened, and I'm going to plead temporary insanity this coming Christmas when my family discovers my Yo. Haha! And I don't even have clothes for her yet!

At least I'm sticking to my Volks-only policy. HAHA!

 

I know that feeling all too well! At some point maybe you will be able to let go of a few and be ok with it, but most everyone has a crazy need to have all the dolls they want at some point :P Totally normal.

 

It was only supposed to be one doll, and for nearly three years, it was only one doll.
I've finally given in and ordered my second.

And there's a third doll I want... my wishlist is growing! D:

 

I said that Pan would be my one and only son...
it did last...lasted for only a month-_-
and my Huika came home !......................
then I said it'd be only 2....
The next month my 3 dolls came = =...........

I've learnt not to say something so definite again ...

 

Oh yes I think almost all of us have been thru this. I always think "this is the one that will satisfy me". Haaha...right! :-\

First it's just this one I want then she needs a BFF then they both need a man around and so it goes! Lol

As for Dot-Ean I have her and she is beautiful. It's really hard trying to decide which one it will be. I think that's partly the reason I haven't purchased a doll in quite a while. I keep falling for one and then another. I wish you lots of luck in your decision.

 

I was determined to get my grail doll first, and I did (thank goodness). And just when I thought that having him alone was enough, another doll caught my eye. Then another. And now I'm waiting for my fourth.

Indeed - tis the world of screaming wallets.

 

Let's see... Which of my unofficial rules have I broken? Quite a few of them.

"I will never buy a Cerberus Project/Luts/Fairyland Breakaway. They're too expensive 'cause they were limited runs, and aren't being produced anymore. An El is close enough." -- I now have 2, thanks to the re-releases. (My Els are still my absolute favorites, though.)

"I will only have 2 dolls! And I'll save up a really long time for the second one." Ha. Ha ha ha.... hahahahahahaha! Yeah... that lasted all of... oh, a week of receiving my first one.

"I won't get any Yo-sized or smaller." This lasted a long time, but Soom finally broke me down with their monthly Beyla unicorns.

"All of my dolls will be paired off romantically with each other!" I tried, but it just never worked. Of my current count, I only have 2 official couples, and one of those couples is in total denial.

The most current rule broken is... "No more buying dolls until after going to Japan in May-June! I need to save the money for the trip." And another rule was broken at the same time. "No more MSD-sized dolls. I'm perfectly happy with the two I currently have." Luts was evil. The Kid Delf Hodoo I've been eyeing since he was first released was 20% off... I was doomed! (It's actually a miracle I didn't get a Delf Moon at the same time, if truth be told...)

 

it happens to me all the time...
I said to myself: "my full choice system girl would be the ONE and only one volks sd size girl I will ever get"...And I buy a Rio head hoping to buy her a body as soon as I can (now three or four years waiting)
I fall for a lot of different size dolls and that's a kind of "big problem" because if you only focus on one size doll you have less trouble to clothe them, they can exchange wigs, eyes size and so on.
So now I have a souldoll Metel, a Unoa Mocha Second, Sd size , msd and yo sd size girls, a sd13 boy,
i tell to myself not too long ago: "enough big girls, i won't let another one enter the house" and I'm half breaking this vow in those days, as I'm trying to let go away one of my doll to open the door to a body for the rio head i wish turn as a full doll!
I feel bad for being so weak willed!!!that's why I often keep myself far from marketplace to avoid temptation.

 

Oh, you seam just like me! Whenever I start saving for something, or I buy something that makes a dent in my wallet, I see something mooore expensive or mooore lovely, and I absolutely MUST have it!

 

I said no girls, no limited and no smaller than SD size... and now I have a Pipos Alice Jr Limited YoS-size girl. I tried to divide her cost by her height in inches to talk myself out of her but sure enough, her she is. She wiggled her way into my doll family but she was not planned at all!

Now I've fallen for a MSD, I'm trying to refuse!

 

Well, I said I'd NEVER get more than one.....that went BEAUTIFULLY!

....seven dolls so far... There are no regrets

 

I sort of said I'd only get a few... well... that's gone so well.. started october this year.. all my babies are second hand.. product of massive amounts of hours at work on casual wages [though now I am full time..] and I have six already well soon to be six once the body for my headless girl comes in..

This number is well on it's way to increasing as I have four more dolls on my wishlist..

 

Lets see...

I said I'll never buy more than one doll a year --> I bought Glati, and few weeks later I bought Dia.
I said I'll never buy WS dolls --> two of my three dolls are now WS.
I said NO impulse buys --> Dia showed up in MP and off the rule went.
I said I'll never EVER call dolls as my babies --> I have caught myself calling the Glati "my baby boy" more than once now... My only defense is that he's so cute and cuddly, and represents my oldest OC...

She really broke the mold for me and it's only evolving from there. I'm planning on breaking so many of my 'rules' right now... XD
