Oh no! I did what I said I wouldn't!

In this hobby I have learned to Never say Never, LOL

 

I was originally saving for a Littlfee Bisou, but I ended up with a Littlefee Ante instead. I don't regret it at all!

 

I did that with my first -and only- doll lol! you just see it then BAM! u know ur getting that doll that second!

 

In the beginning I wanted a puki puki for a 1:12 scale unfinished dollhouse I received, but got a PKF instead after collecting re ment and furniture for the re ment to go on..lol. Eventually I fell in love with another PKF and since my 1st needed a sister, I got her without a plan....quickly, I set up a room for her for when she got here (i think she's stuck in customs for about a month now). Anywho, I was upset with the long wait so while I waited for my 2nd PKF to arrive, I trolled sites on the computer and spontaneously bought myself a Choco Puki Piki (the first doll I intended to buy since I started the hobby). She just got here yesterday and because she came soo quick, I had nothing ready for her. Can you believe though, that now I'm thinking she might need a roommate in that big 1:12 dollhouse...lol. Yes, I wasn't planning for such a growth in my bjd family this quick but this hobby will do that to you...luckily my husband says anything that makes me happy is worth it...even if they're dolls

 

Count me among those who have had plans for dolls changed suddenly.
I was set to save up for a MNF (and still am) and was planning to stay in the MSD size when I came across a lovely head on ebay.
Now I am looking into what SD body will best suit me for a Luts '06 Juri.

 

I really wanted to buy a good digital camera, I promised myself not to buy dolls this year, only home appliances... and I do it again, I buy a doll. And my friend, who wanted to buy only one doll for her favorite character now is thinking about companions for this one. Yeah, we are doll addicts! )

No, I still promise myself that this dolll will be the only one exception!

 

I promised myself I would never get any of the Big Soom Monthy Dolls. Then Ender just had to show his cute little Jackely head and my love of egyptian things kicked in and well...... on one tiny note I only bought the head, outfit and ankh the body is a little too beefy for me. But he was going to body share with my Ted but now I am thinking he needs his own Blah its never ending around here.

 

Yes, this happens to me a looooot. It's so annoying! Q__Q;

I promised, PROMISED myself the first thing I'd get was my Chalco's body, and then a MNF.
Instead of switched out my tiny for a new MSD form and got a new doll on top of that.
I'd like to get my dolls in the order they're suppose to "appear" in their characters' stories, but this has not been so. Dx

 

This just happened to me. I really hate having bodiless heads floating around so I was saving for a body for either my Ritsuka minime head or my JDF1 head (I have two of these boys but one already has a body) as my next doll purchase, then Luts announced their limited KDF Maska elf. Admittedly I was planning Leander as my next doll purchase long before I was surprised with the Ritsuka minime as a gift (I have some wonderful friends) or lucked into finding the second JDF1 head but obviously this was not the doll I had planned for him. I had put him on the back burner until I could buy bodies for floating heads figuring I would just buy him next year. It is the curse of the limited doll. I don't usually do the limited thing, hopefully I won't regret this.

 

I said that I'd never own DDs they are not for me. Look at me now....*faint*

 

I said I wasn't gonna buy another one until I go to college in the fall........ I'm now in the process of buying a soom MD aphan fauna head. Sigh, now he needs a body, which he needs before the doll meet-up in july. Well there goes my plan of not buying any dolls!

 

I did this often... after I fall in love with Volks, I had spend a lot of money. I love them so much that I almost could not stop and get into almost broke.

 

Hmm let me make a list of what I did that I thought Id never do when I joined

I used to really dislike unoa, and now I like to look at them XP.

I said id never buy a soom, I bought an afi

I said id never buy a slim msd, that went out the window

I said id never want a doll with blonde hair, I have one

I said I wanted luts, and now I dont want any

I said I would only have one tiny, Im getting another one ^just recently,

I SAID, you get the picture XD

 

UPDATE: LOL...I adopted a Fairyland ChocoPuki Sugar to accompany my Choco Piki Yes, and I wasn't planning to get one so soon, especially after getting 3 in under 6 months! Now, yes, I have my sights on 2 other sculpts....and from another company (something I told my self I'd never do). Go figure right? I just figure it's my photography and imagination evolving

 

It happens to me all the time I end up buying a doll that I was not saving up for. And then when I do have the money for the doll I originally were saving for I have lost the interest

First of all, I only wanted one doll. Well now I have two on the way.
Secondly, I only wanted my dream doll. Well now I have him coming second, another coming first.
Yeah... and now I want two SDs. No,no, no, I shouldn't!

 

I told myself I wouldn't get more than two dolls originally. I ended up with three, because of an unforeseen addition to the family at the time haha. Then I told myself, no more than three! Three is a perfect number!

Well, now I have 4, I just couldn't ignore my want for the sculpt. Then I told myself 4 is good enough, and I fell in love with a tiny and bought that 8C. Not to mention the 2-3 dolls I am eyeballing pretty hard on my wishlist.

So now I'm just relying on self control to make sure I don't do more things I said I wouldn't rofl.

 

I told myself no tinies till after my 'O' level national exam but.... *looks down at signature* Okay, I broke that promise T_T
Also, I told myself I'll never ever sell Sen, my first doll but now... I don't know anymore...I've found another sculpt for his character =/

 

I've done this a lot and learnt the hard way never to say "never" where BJDs are concerned! I said no tinies - I got a Bambicrony Kumi. I said I'd stop at 5 - I now have 14 plus one head. I said no more dolls this year - I've already bought two more dolls, I've got another head incoming, and I have another doll planned now for later in the year! And possibly another tiny. I thought I'd never get a Volks - I now have two. I didn't think I'd ever get an El or a Lishe, but I have one of each and the incoming head is another El.

I never discount any possibilities now where BJDs are concerned.
