Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Maybe clean it with water and a soft cloth and let it dry for at least one hour and spray it with Mr C. I hope the shiny spots are gone after one time. ( you have to take the eyes out)

      Wonderful news! My beloved black piggy made it home! Squee!

      Hilde was so so worried because the little one refused to come out of her box until Hilde opened it herself. She jumped right in and introduced herself. (And here I thought she would hate her, I guess Hilde has matured quite a bit!)
      Hilde quickly forced her new friend to try on all her clothes and provided cakes to calm her nerves.
      I'm so excited to have Odette finally home! Expect more adventures from these two girls~

    3. Oh! Sweetheart! And don't they look exquisite together? What lovely clothes. Sigh. Hilde looks so confident and grown up next to the new little one.

      ETA: Just checked out your photos of Odette on Flickr. Adorable! And where did you get those specs for Hilde? Arthur would love a pair. It looks like Ophelia's body is similar to Bubu (which would make sense since they're both CCC). ACBs are tubbier. Arthur has a rounded tum-tum whereas Pippin's quite slim. I love Arthur's little round belly.

    4. OMG, Fiatan, congratulations!! Odette is just gorgeous (as is Hilde in her elegant little outfit!!). What a wardrobe these two have - so glad to hear Hilde welcomed the new addition and is happily sharing her things and making Odette feel right at home!

      (Hmmmm, wondering if Arthur's singular obsession with Hilde might wane a bit now that the lovely Odette has entered the picture?)

      Sorry for the late reply everyone! It's been a very busy week.

      Yes, Odette is settling nicely in with Hilde. Hilde has been dressing up Odette like her own personal doll. (Hilde IS a bit upset that Odette has a slimmer waist.)

      psammead, actually those glasses were included with School Angel Alice set, along with school outfit and pink backpack, so I don't think they're available for buying individually ...?

      Oh gatodelsol! That is indeed alarming news! Does Arthur have an attraction to shy girls? Odette is feeling a bit more confident after I installed magnets to keep her head plate in place.

      How are the rest of you lovely pigs?

    8. Can I just say that piggy threads like this one are fast becoming my guilty pleasure? I think ACB was my absolute intro to BJDs, if you can believe it. I was googling "tiny monkey" (don't ask) and happened across a picture on Flickr of this utterly charming pig doll. My jaw hit the floor- "WHAT is that", I thought quickly followed by "oooh, that is just the cutest thing ever. I wonder if I could ever get one?". I had never heard of a BJD before. I soon realised with a bit of research that ACB ownership was not feasible for me for all sorts of reasons (not the least being far too late to the pig party)- but I still find them totally adorable and I love all the pics.

    9. Thank you Hepcat for your nice comments. Yes we all love piggies and you see there is a variety of them made by different dollmakers. ACB piggies are hard to get nowadays but you can put a WTB in the Marketplace thread, though they are expensive.
      Ballet how is Tina doing, did you solve the problem?

    10. Hepcat, you just described how I discovered Alice Cherry Blossom dolls a year ago! I was so heartbroken that I arrived too late in the game. All the excitement seemed to happen at least three years earlier. So I just drooled over pictures online for a month at least, when my co-worker saw me looking at her. He then told me that his wife had two of these lovely pigs (!?) and would probably help me find one of my own. It took months of false leads until I adopted Hilde a few months ago.

      If you are really determined and have a deep love for this doll, I believe miracles do happen and you can adopt one~! They are very expensive but so worth it! She's gorgeous and photogenic and just DARLING. All of these pigs here are so wonderful!

    11. Fiatan- oooh, thanks for sharing your input and to Fiatan story. It does give me hope that sometimes it is possible to find dolls that are no longer available widely. Isn't the internet wonderful sometimes? Muja, I will definitely keep my eyes open once I get my marketplace access and who knows...maybe a piggie will find its way to me. I'm currently planning on my first doll being a Fairyland Littlefee Ante elf but I think it would be so much fun to own a piggie, too. In the meantime, I will lurk and drool here over the...piggie spam. Is that still the right term to use for pig photos?! :)
