Oink oink to all Piggy lovers

Oh what a darling black and white piggy. I want a big-sized rody for myself now.
psammead Odette is quite back to her normal self. She just had a bit of restringing work done. Now it's Tobia's (my Bubu) turn to take a vacation. He's visiting my dear friend and getting a cute piggy face up.

I just received a new shipment of outfits for my little darlings. Hopefully I'll be posting up more soon.
I love Miriam's faceups. I am currently on a waiting list for Odette, but until then I wonder if I should experiment with her face.

Since I only have piggies, I'm wondering how your piggies get along with your other dollies. What is the relationship between your dolls and the piggies, everyone?

My pigs haven't spent much time with my other dolls because their scale is quite a bit different. I do have several Catsy cats that, although they are roughly the same height, still differ so much in body type. It's like the piggies are little children and the Catsy cats are adults. My Pipos Ringo is a bit closer in style to the pigs, since she's very kitten-like and has the chubbier body style.

I look forward to seeing your piggies modeling their new outfits! Hope Tobia's home from getting his face-up soon and your Odette doesn't have long to wait for hers!

Here is Tinsley offering some tea! She has just made a cake with strawberry icing, there is fresh piping tea in the pot and even a box of truffles that she would be inclined to share if you ask.


I posted this on my blog too, but am too happy to not mention in, that white clock in the corner is the first miniature I ever bought!!! and i bought it when I was about 11 or 12....and guess what I had lost it. I just found it this weekend at my parents country house, while cleaning some old stuff out, I picked up a box and there it was!!!! Its been like, 18 years since I saw it!!! Its missing a door, but I still think it looks great in Tinsleys parlour.

 

In my family the piggy is my pukifees 'pet' so she has to play dress up and deal with a youngster but my piggy is still very smart and has a mind of her own. When pukifee isnt looking piggy might go on her own adventures, make friends, or get into trouble!

 

So, I haven't been able to fully fix Button's posing issue - I will have to take pictures and ask for advice on stringing board. But yesterday, she got a new outfit from trinlayk and I thought I have to introduce her finally:

Call me weird, but I'm not sending her back even if I cannot fix her leg. I'm too attached to the creature from the first sight...

Fiatan, I have a PukiPuki who is almost the same height as my Kiki, they are going to be best friends. My larger dolls (pukifee size) have older, mature characters, so they kind of 'keep an eye' on the youngsters.

 

Hello everyone! It's me! Arthur! Er... hi Hilde! (waves madly). I thought I'd answer Fiatan's question by showing you a photo of me and Millie. Millie and the four little boys like her are OT here on DoA. (OT stands for Outrageously Tall -- they are 40 cm tall!!) You can't post a picture of OT dollies on DoA unless you put your own resin self in the picture. So I did.

Pippin (my dear piggy friend who lives here) and I spend a lot of time looking after Millie and the boys. We help them with their reading and sums (piggies are very good at sums -- our brains are very mathematical). Millie and I make cakes and biscuits and Pippin plays noisy games with the boys. When Millie arrived here a couple of weeks ago, she was disappointed that the dolls like her were all boys. So that night she and I went online and we ordered a beautiful Korean little girl to be Millie's best friend. Fortunately I had previously committed psammead's password and financial details to memory. (Piggies have very good memories.) What a lovely surprise for psammead when she woke up!

Your Button looks SO SWEET in that adorable outfit, mousetail! It's like she's wearing a rainbow! So pretty with her little kitty! And I know what you mean - I have a hard time sending dolls back, too, so I don't blame you for wanting to keep her. I sincerely hope you're able to fix her and have her posing perfectly soon! There are a lot of very knowledgeable people here on DOA, so someone is bound to know the answer. Good luck with it!

That's a lovely pic of your Arthur with his friends psammead! I have several Sasha dolls and they are standing on a shelf not too far from my pigs, yet I never thought how nice they could look together. Very nice, indeed!

I just got a tiny from Notdoll whose leg + foot is not perfectly done- I've been trying to fix it without re-stringing, cause that scares me! Oh and no, the pumpkin house is for my realpuki, Tinsley is special- she got a REAL dollhouse to live in (if I ever finish all the rooms)!
