1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

One Doll at a Time? Or Many at Once?

Feb 25, 2012

    1. Multiple. On the 19th, I am paying for 3 dolls. They will probably all arrive at the same time and they will all be customised together.

    2. I focus on buying one doll at a time but tend to work on them in rotations of when I feel inspired by that particular character.

    3. :)One doll at a time for me.

    4. I don't have the means to buy more than one doll at a time! No job, full time college student, veryyyy busy home/social life...I don't have time or money.

      I bought my Hound six years ago, and my floating Lud-N head four years ago. I would have liked to buy my Lud-N head a body between then and now, but finding a match for him has proven rather difficult. I'd really like to see the body in person with the head before buying it, and there aren't many collectors near me, much less with the specific bodies I've been looking at.

      My DC Agatha was really a surprise, didn't anticipate being able to buy a doll until after college/with a full time job...and since she was such a sudden thing (she was in stock on DDE), she doesn't have a wig, proper eyes, clothes (except some crappy ones I've made between my busy schedule). If it weren't for the holidays coming up, she probably wouldn't have anything until around my birthday in March where I *might* get money. Thank you mom for the fantastic presents for her! :D

    5. I most always do that, as a matter of fact. Usually I only pay one doll at a time but there have been multiple times that because of layaways I've been waiting on many dolls at once. I rarely to never consider a doll to be complete so there's always something going on with the ones at home though. @u@;;

    6. I intend on buying a few but since it may take a while for me to save up for both, I'm planning on getting them one at a time c:

    7. For me its one doll at a time since I need to save money to be able to buy another doll

    8. i am just starting out and planned on focusing on one at a time but after searching for the perfect doll i ended up with four (which are in their way). i think i feel more comfortable starting with the larger number though because i have two friends that are bjd vets and they are willing to teach me the tricks of the trade.

    9. one doll at a time for me. I think each doll deserves the same attention when they arrive, so individual arrivals would deem fit to me :)

    10. One doll at a time. But that's down to money issues. If cash wasn't a factor, you can bet I'd have them arriving in groups!

    11. I plan of buying one doll at the time, because two would be actually too much for me. I can also save some money up for another doll or clothes, wig etc. before the doll arrives ;)

    12. I say to each their own. Sometimes you can't wait because a doll is a limited edition
