Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I'd be impressed with someone's self control if they managed to successfully own only one doll. This was my plan and I'm purchasing my fourth today :sweat I have a feeling she won't be my last, too.

      I guess it's kind of like only reading one book. You love it, but you will get tired of it, so you have to get some other books to compair and add variety.

    5. LOL, I would have thought one would be enough but, goodness, they are addictive! I ordered my first doll from DOD in Feb of this year. Once I held her, I was hooked! By end of this year I will have 7 (...yes 7!) dolls. Its crazy how fast they added up! And I'm already planning out what dolls I will buy next year! :sweat

    7. I started by buying one (a Brownie, from Ajumapama) which I haven't gotten yet since I just ordered it a couple months ago. In the meantime, I've already bought two from DoA! A Cherish Faith Cecil and another Brownie, so I can have twins. *sigh* I thought I'd only ever have just the first Brownie. I still am constantly browsing the marketplace.

    9. I've got one doll right now and more than likely will be getting a second after the first of

      IMO, dolls are kinda like tattoos, you can't get just one. Of course dolls aren't as permanent.;)

    12. I said too that one doll was enough...It was two years ago and I had 3 dolls and I'm looking for the fourth one.
      Sometimes I think internet is like a demon : I go and visit the companies website and then, I want a new doll.
      And every time I receive a doll, I think she would be the last one, I'm too weak !!:...(

      I wanted just one in the beginning.. But then I fell in love with another.. and now another.. D: I ordered 3 in the same month >>;

      ..I'm still waiting on them + a event doll. I think I need to stay away from my computer for abit, so I don't buy a 5th one. >_> My poor wallet~~ T_T;

    14. Hmmm. I'm actually AT that stage where I'm thinking 'just buy the one'. But I very nearly bought a Lati off Flickr, just because she was available, not because she was the Lea I have ny heart set on...so I already, in my head, was at 'ok, two'. Oh dear.

    15. I was planning on buying one for a couple of years, when I had finally the money I bought a different one... so I still want the original, and as soon as the first arrived I realised I will want so many more.
      I won't be saving much of my wages anymore.

    16. In the beginning I was clueless of the upcoming disaster. I was so-so sure that my first boy will definitely be the last. Now I've already have five large dolls, one small, two floating heads. And waiting for two more large guys to arrive. And I'm all like "WAIT. WHAT?! HOW'S THAT POSSIBLE?" XD

      Way in the beginning I thought that I'd get one to start with. I never thought that would own only one, but I also never thought I would own as many as I do now. Still, like chocolates: one is good. Two is better. ^_^

    18. hahah yeah, when I first found the doll of my dreams I thought (and told my boyfriend) " I only want her, no others ever. Here I am now three months down the road and before I even have her I want two more! Though I cant decide what size I want the boy to be. :sweat Though if I want them I need to get a new way way better job.

    19. LOL, when I first found out about this hobby and the cost of one doll and how customizable they are, I thought - "I only need one doll ... one prefect doll just for me!" Now, I have gone through soooo maaaaaany dolls ... I usually have 5-9 @ any given time. I trade, I buy, I sell... I'M FICKLE! But I must admit that my current collection is pretty much perfect to me and I see these beauties staying with me. I will buy more though... I am always looking for another doll to buy. That all being said ---> 1 is definitely not enough for me! :blush

Seriously, I thought that getting my first doll would keep me from buying another anytime over the next half a year and I'm already scheming...less than a week after getting my first doll, to buy another one. Y'know, because she needs a "big brother". :doh Don't know how anyone gets only one..they're like chips or something, can't have just one...
