1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. One outfit or more?

Mar 1, 2018

    1. I love to dress up my dolls and have multiple outfits for them. :)

    2. I used to be more entertained by changing out doll outfits than I am now (probably because I used to be more dedicated to the photography element).

These days I almost wish I had stuck to one outfit per doll! But that might just be because I'm about to move again and I'm wishing I didn't have quite so many things to pack up!

    3. hahaha! I had this problem too when I moved but you would regret if you only have one outfit per doll :XD:

    4. I constantly sew new outfits - it's the reason I have dolls

    5. I like having a bunch of different outfits for them. I want to learn to sew for them soon.

    6. As of right now I only have one outfit for my doll, but I think the more the better since no one wants to wear the same thing every single day!

    7. I have multiple outfits for my dolls, I love playing dress up with them. :)

    8. So far I only have one outfit for my doll but I’m definitely not going to stop ordering more because I really want to change my dolls clothing more oftenly :)

    9. I like to change clothes and style, ofcourse diferent clothes diferent wig, im sewing myself but still in learning progress :-) so i think so a lot of clothes is great to variation of diferent characters on one doll.

    10. Some of my dolls have a few outfit pieces, like one pair of jeans, but several shirts. Some have a lot, more then they will likely ever wear, but I love finding cool items for them in case they ever get a brother or friend in the same size.

    11. I love exploring fashion, so being able to design unique characters to wear different fashion styles was one of the main draws of this hobby for me. It's all about enjoying the creativity, so my dolls are all pretty much spoiled brats with extensive wardrobes by design.

    12. I have few outfits for my baby and I need more for him. I don’t buy much due to the design in Thailand is almost same for yosd boys and I don’t need the same clothes in my doll closet.

    13. I like to have more than one outfit for a doll, gives them variation and gives them more character, also makes the person seeing the doll see the doll's personality.

    14. More, way more, they lives better than me now

    15. It seems I'm very much in the minority! I tend to create one "full-set" for each of my dolls and usually don't change their eyes, wigs or clothes once I've got them looking the way I want for display. I have a certain amount of spare doll clothing, but I don't use it for dress-up. It'll get incorporated into outfits for incomplete and future dolls.

    16. I prefer more than one. Back when I used to collect easy-to-shop-for OT dolls, I bought quite a lot of clothes without putting much into what I was getting. Ofc when I purchased stuff from Etsy etc. I bought things quite thoughtfully, but in general I kind of just happily shopped away. I ended up with quite large dolly wardrobe but had still hard time picking up matching clothes to compose outfits I really really liked. After shifting more into bjds I promised myself to only buy things mindfully to avoid wasting money. It's sort of like planning at least some outfits ahead or having a proper idea of a doll's style. In this case it's quality over quantity. I can always shop towards a bigger wardrobe but I can do that with time. Besides, it's really fun to put together Etsy collections, watch stuff on Ebay and compare different things. I'm not saying this is THE way to shop, but for me it's probably the best. :)

    17. I think the more the merrier! Bigger problem is you wanna have a closet for them, I made one out of chalk painting an old crate and adding a dowel then decorating it...getting some smaller hangers and even put a small mirror on the side so now she has her own wardrobe plus they stay nice and neat and unwrinkled!!!

    18. More~ since i love styling my boys so i need diff choices of clothing for them. I feel like one is not enough :D

    19. Mah! I bought again some outfits for my girls ^^°
It seems they have more outfits than me

    20. More! I love dressing up my dolls once in a while, at least once a season so they have to have at least one outfit for each weather. It makes me feel cold if I see them only with T-shirts in winter, they need sweaters to be as warm and comfy as me!
