@Shirayasha Only Doll body is very good, poses nicely and is well strung...or at least mine was! The torso joint, however, won't be able to stay in..ah...bent (?) position, because there's nothing to hold it. I believe I posted comparison pictures of the body with Kid Delf, which I definitely don't recommend as hybrid. I'll post some pics if I have time.... xD @Evelien Yay, she finally arrived! Mirabilis, thank you, and more pictures are always welcome! I was thinking of the new DollZone body for a hybrid, but just because of the torso. Only-Doll looks very good, but it's always reassuring to hear from someone who knows!
I'm completely in love with the Xuan Yan sculpt!! Love at first site I must say, I'm kind of worried about purchasing one of their (being the companies) dolls though, I see no owner pictures or, at least I haven't found them yet.. And if I were to buy one I would purchase her off of the ebay sellerlinwenjie0310, but I'm not sure if he/she is trustworthy >.<
As far as I know - but I am not speaking from personal experience - liwenjie is a legitimate dealer for several brands. Mint on Card sells them too though. And I love the XuanYan sculpt too ^^. By the way, the lack of owner pics is caused by the fact that Only-Doll is a relatively new company
Liwenjie is a legit dealer. I've bought wigs from them but not a doll yet. :3 Oh goody, more Only-Doll people Only-Dolls are wonderful. But the posing is a tad limited. ;~; My boy can't seem to sit up straight. His back always arches backwards.
I love Sugar, Mirabilis! Does any one have a comparison picture of Only-Doll's white and normal pink resin? Also, can anyone tell me how the Only-Doll and Doll Leaves colors match?
I have both white resin and normal pink resin from O-D, I'll take a picture later. I don't have any Doll Leaves dolls to compare though, sorry!
So sorry, I've been really busy today and now natural daylight is gone. I'll do it tomorrow. I'll get all of my resin in the picture while I'm at it :-P
Shirayasha You want a 3-joint torso? With separate chest, abdomen & pelvis? Look at the previous pages of this topic, I believe I posted comparison pictures with Kid Delf. There are 2 things that irk me about the Only Doll body - they have this weird leaning back position when they sit (worse with pants on) and their chest refuses to bend. These 2 pics illustrate what I mean: I'm using strength to pull his torso. He always looks like he's leaning back XD Jet-Stream-Jumper liwenjie is a trustworthy dealer, I bough my Ting Yun from them. They can mark an item down if you ask them. Mint On Card is also an excellent choice, seeing that you are located in the US. Good luck! PS. Dirty doll is dirty...
Mirabillis I know what you mean about their bodies. They will not sit up straight ;~; Not even close. And though they are double jointed, I'm not sure about the rest of you but his arms are awful at bending at anything more than a a 90 degree angle. :/
Mirabilis, thank you so much for the pictures!! I am sorry to say this, because people in this thread have been so helpful, but I have decided not to buy Ning Ge after all. I realized that he looks too much like someone I know in real life! I know it's not the doll's fault that the live person is a nuisance. It's just a tribute to the realism of the Only-Doll face sculpt! Thanks again!

I'm SO sorry I still didn't take a picture of the resin comparison. I shouldn't promise things when real life is being a bum -_-. And now daylight's pretty much gone again. On top of that, I'm having doubts about my Wendy (RuoDie). I'm not sure I love her enough
You can have some of our daylight if you want! The sun wakes me up too early >.< If you have troubles bonding with your Wendy, I suggest changing her face-up, wig, clothes or something else! If it doesn't work out, you can always find a new home for her~ Good luck!
I think I'm gonna try a new faceup and eyes. She deserves it. FINALLY - I am SO sorry - a resin comparison. I decided to do just Only-Doll normal pink skin (on the left) and Only-Doll white skin for now... I'll include all my other companies' resin samples in a comparison photo later. I can't wait for Summer break to come... I'm so tired. Just 5 more weeks...
