Ozzy's Children or I Love You Bambicrony, the new CBs

Greenfaerie - I'm really liking Pepe in her red wig. I have Pepe in the white one that was the extra wig I received, but I think I'm going to switch her back!!

 

I just wanted to comment here how wonderful Bambicrony have been so far regarding my fanged head exchange.
I did cause some confusion in the beginning of ordering - changed my mind from fangs, to fangless & then back to fangs!!!
...so, it was kinda my fault that they got mixed up! lol
They have been quick to respond to my request and have promised to refund me the postage I pay to get the head back to them...(wondering how I should post it - registered or express????)
...they have also promised to send me the extra s-hook for the hand if I prefer it :-)
I would definately order through them again in the future!!!

Can't wait to get back my Sisley - with fangs :-)

 

That is good news! Express is very expensive from Australia but at least you have peace of mind that it arrives safely and quickly.
My Kumi arrived yesterday and I have had a hard time bonding with her. I think she is growing on me though! Just need to play around with wigs and things.

 

Wigs can make such a huge difference to their character I think!!!

Marketa I also have the white wig as my extra wig, but I like it best on a different doll! The red wig was what attracted me to Pepe in the first place because it just makes her pop!

Princess Starburst congrats on your girl arriving! It took my taking photo's of mine to really bond with her because at first I wasn't really sure either.

 

Dollaholic, just a thought but have you asked Bambicrony for the price of an extra head? By the time you ship yours off it might not be too much more to pay for another head? At least that way you have two options!

 

....I did think of that PrincessStarburst ... but I thought they would be unlikely to do that since she is a limited doll and, I don't really want to pay for an extra head right now. It was a good idea though ;-)
She's on her way back to them now anyway and, they said they will refund my postage back to them too :-)

Congratulations Dollaholic on getting Aki and Roro. I am waiting for more owner pictures before I decide on those two!
Well, Ruby is looking a bit shell shocked after sitting on the Marketplace for two days!! It took a little bit of playing around, wig changes etc but I think I have finally bonded with her. She is very very pretty. I just need MORE ....clothes, wigs, shoes etc etc etc!

I just wish she was tinier! I think I am in love with Pukifee size or smaller. YoSd just look so big to me!

i felt that way last year when i bought a Lati Green Coco off ebay. that size was just not for me. but when tan Judy came out i was in love with her chocoskin and took a chance. and it was instant love. so, while i still much prefer the PKF/Yellow size, my 2 Bambicrony girls are very special to me. they are like the pre-teen version dolls to me (i have a 12 yr-old, 9, 6, and 4)

and also, with Kumi it was not "love-out-the-box" for me either. but as soon as i started taking pics the love came

 

I felt like that also when I bought my first BIG Tiny Girl - Soom Ai
It helped me bond once I did her faceup but I really bonded alot more when I got her a friend the same size lol!!!
....maybe you need to buy another one!!! lol

....I personally am still alot more connected with my real tinies (realpuki, puki & lati yellow) so I understand :-)

 

I have taken her off the MP. It is so hard to have to sell her and I think I am rushing in to a bad decision. She really is so beautiful and very photogenic. I think my main disapointment was that I wanted a real child like doll but she looks so much older than I thought she would. Like Costleyhobby said, pre teen. Maybe I need a littlefee to be the baby of the family>> LOL

PrincessStarburst I have a feeling that if you tried a different wig on her she would look much younger. Something short and cute might do it.

 

PrincessStarburst, she really is gorgeous and such a sweetpea, I want to kiss her nose! I am glad to see you're giving her more time I agree with greenfaerie that a different wig might help, that wig is gorgeous but a bit older looking, I've noticed bangs always seem to help with a younger look.

 

Yes! I agree, a different wig might do the job. I am actually really starting to like her as she is now though............it has taken a few days but she finally is winning my heart! I kind of like the pre teen look too. I just find it hard to see her as the same age as my Lati Yellow! so 12-13 sounds more realistic in size comparison.

 

I know what you mean by the pre-teen look. I'd been looking at Volks Yo-SD's, Soom Teenies and LTF before I got my BC and as soon as I opened the box the first thing I thought was 'She needs a training bra.' But I really love mine because her body shape is so feminine.

 

I am very happy & relieved that Bambicrony have received my Sisley head back all ok and will have my new fanged head ready by the end of December :-) Hopefully I'll get her before Christmas!
