As long as you don't care about the fullset, you can just order him on one of the last days of the event (layaway or not). ^___~

@Ladyuzumaky I think he'll be a perfect SD boy to start out with. They are not super heavy and pose really well. I'm sure you'll love him so much ^^

Hmm...unless you talked with Peak's Woods about you moving (or traveling) to Korea, I can't see any sense in their reply. As I read it, it's more about how you can order him without making an actual order and have him put on layaway? Haha confusing. Maybe you should just try asking them again? ':3

Really? *---* I'm happy about it! I like how the Dandy boy body looks, it suit the characters that I have in mind for them (even if it's a little bit strange to have them with the same body).

@Ladyuzumaky Yeah. I mean, it could scare some away from the SD size if they might start out with an Iplehouse EID or the like - which is super heavy and bulky - and they might think all SDs are like that. But the PW boys are super 'portable' compared XD'

I understand you completely about the clothes. Ardeur De L'Amour makes the best quality clothes for dolls! It really is amazing!

It's been almost two months since my layaway for Kass was completed, I'm sort of madly crossing my fingers he's mailed out early in March, LOL! But I suspect Suntan skin might take a little longer. But I want him in the house for a bit before I get to show him off to the ladies at the PNW BJD con--I just saw on their website they were going to the con in Washington state at the end of May! My brain is exploding, LOLOL!

Is anyone else going to be able to make it to see them?

I'm going to try really hard on going, I really want to meet them too. I should have money for plane tickets by March 27. I live in Idaho, so tickets shouldn't be too much. Are you planning on staying at the hotel where the con is being held?

 

I was originally going to go back and forth, because I'm only half an hour out from Seattle...but now I honestly think I'll have to stay. Dollism room sales were INSANE and PW had such a lovely room sale too, I would hate to miss out on that aspect of it! We'll see how my sister feels, I know she'd want to spend every cent we have on Peak's Wood, now that we know they're coming. They are so lovely and enthusiastic, buying from them is 100% even more amazing knowing who it is, if that makes sense, LOL!

Idaho is not bad for tickets! I have a friend at work who's back and forth all the time, her sons and best friend live over there.

O man, now I have to go! I would really like to go to Dollism too, but I think that would be more expensive- maybe next year. I hear they are lovely people to meet and buy from directly.

 

I'd never dare go where Peakswoods are selling dolls IRL. I mostly consider myself out of the hobby for the last 2-3 years, yet have both a Kassio (Lavender fullset) and Keith (diamond grey prince fullset) ordered. And I got a blue-grey White Rabbit Tristan fullset (except with the Mad Hatter outfit because they ran out of "white rabbit") last year. No other dolls have even tempted me. I do think it will be neat seeing the three boys together with the different skin colors, though! The Blue-Grey is so lovely in person, and I'm hoping I'll like diamond grey as much. I might get a display case just for my Dandy boys, since I'm out of room in the other display cases and I'm sure they'll look good together. I guess they'll be a trouple? (Tristan has been stuck alone in a drawer for a year -poor guy.)

I've been kind of away from forums, but is Peakswoods taking longer than usual? Last year, I got Tristan exactly three months after ordering (PIF), and I paid off Kassio completely the minute he went on sale and he hasn't shipped. Does anyone know if anyone has their Kass or Kassio yet? I know that their websites estimates longer than 3 months, so maybe I just got lucky other times I've ordered from them. I have a week off work now and was really hoping he'd come around the same time last year's Tristan did. I'm hoping Keith (PIF Feb 16) will get here in early June.

 

Well, you could say that. They took a break during Christmas due to their father dying. So they are still a bit backlogged I imaging. Also, PW is experiencing a lot of success now, so I think they get more orders than ever which will also affect production time. I think they are doing their best to make it a 3-4 months wait though

 

Oh, thanks for the news about their father - that makes a lot of sense that they'd be behind. I did notice they were getting many orders if you go to their "layaways" section! It's full of their new dolls.

@krystina - Thank you!! He would like his cheeks to be pinched by someone who adored him I think, hehe. He is wearing a combination of DollHeart items I recieved from participating in the fukubukuro event this past Winter. You made me feel great by saying my dolls are stylish! I feel a bit silly sometimes cause it's like I'm always posting photos of them and in different styles of dress each time. Dressing them up and posting photos are so much fun to me though, I love to share them with you all and give them attention in this way.
How are Selmy and Siberia doing? & did Shaia and Bella the Moon make it back from the face-up spa yet?

 

Don't feel silly, I love seeing them in their different outfits; I just love seeing them in different looks! Selmy and Siberia are doing great- I got them new wigs but I don't like them I got them from Leekeworld during their holiday sale. The wig for Siberia, the style doesn't look the way it was pictured on their site. I might keep that one, then just try and style it myself. The wigs I got for Selmy and my Shaia, I'll probably sell on the marketplace and order from Crobidoll again. Shaia and Bella girl are still on their way to China They left LA on Feb. 2; and that's all I got as far as updates go. Well I learned my lesson, send express. I really like the work of the person I've sent it too (boxofeggs) I'm sure the wait will be worth it
