ooh, I'd also be interested in seeing if DDE will do layaway of the limited School Of Rock girls

 

Earlier on page 18, PaiPai posted owner photos of their Romantic Lady Bee in lavender-pink skin. I've quoted the post where their body comparison photo comes in so you can see the body.

As far as the body types, currently Peak's Woods is going to be using the Little Muse body for all of their Fairies of Bugs from now on, but they did have an older single-jointed body prior to the FoB Renewal event this summer.

I ordered a Romantic Lady Bee from DDE. (No word yet on School of Rock). They said she could take up to 8 months to ship. So I guess I'll be collecting accessories for Nix while I wait. Not that I really mind...

What size clothing do current FOB owners suggest I look for? What about wigs and eyes?

 

Whee! I think you'll be happy with Romantic Lady Bee. She is very cute.

The newer Muse body is way slimmer than the older FoB--so Dollheart MSD is a bit big now. I have found that Angell-Studio is pretty perfect, however. Here's my Mia in lavender-pink in AS:

I think the MSD size wigs from DH still fit well--and have in the past. They are on the larger size of 7/8, I think. This is a 7/8 Leeke.

And I like my girls with 14mm eyes, though 16mm also works well. Mia is wearing her default glass ones here.

 

@alington Thanks for the info! Your Mia is gorgeous. I should mention that my love for PW was ignited by the photos in your book. I have it sitting here as a reference while shopping and I am especially grateful for your list detailing company doll types. I only wish I'd gotten into the hobby sooner so I could have gotten some FOC as well. Sigh.

Anyway I'm off to check out AS!

 

I asked DDE on Facebook about the School Of Rock line, they unfortunately said they will not be adding them to their website

Layaway with paypal through PeaksWoods site is thankfully really easy and they're super nice so don't worry :3
Just make your order as normal with what ever you are planning to put on layaway, you'll get to a section that you can't miss where you state you are doing layaway and how you'd like to do it (e.g. $100 each month until paid, etc, or more specific if you need) Once that is done and you have finished the online ordering you will receive your order number plus an email. Then through paypal you use their provided email address to send the first payment to them, making sure to include the order number, (most important!) and I also like to to include the layaway plan I selected too that marks off paid months and the current one, but you don't really have to do that part since they are very organised and will mark off what you have paid on the layaway page section for your order. I hope that helps you out!

 

Yay! PeaksWoods is such a nice and generous company for having so many contests with opportunities to win dolls. The new Black Christmas event looks exciting!! I don't have a pw doll yet for the photography contest but its so amazing they have an lottery event to enter for everyone!

~I see FOC Dlight will be the photography 1st prize..

 

Does anyone have an on Nine Style's MSD clothing for FOB?

Also, thank you @ClarasCraft for the explanation. I've got my eye on Vampire KoonieS and Mia. The website says only three month layaway is available for them, so I'm going to have to massage the numbers in my budget.

 

Good question! I could have sworn that Peak's Woods had 9Nine Style clothes for FoB previously on the site, but it seems like it's mostly Sadol and AjumaPama at the moment. At the very least 9Nine Style shoes will fit!

I just ordered a Vampire Koonie S in Lavender Pink skin-!! I wasn't sure about MSD size initially but she is so darling and I already ordered a MNF Sia cause I just had to have her.. so she will have some company in her size when she arrives. Twisted logic, much? But it's working for me, I'm excited!
These events coming up are really exciting too! I'm psyched to do another photo shoot that pushes my limits like the Spring contest photo session. I almost never do outdoor shoots in public spaces but I did for that one & it was pretty thrilling - I also convinced my Hubby to tag along and make sure my doll didn't fall over into the mud while I was busy taking shots, haha!

The outfit I ordered for Mia got here finally and now Im even more anxious for her to arrive. Fingers crossed it'll only be another month.

I dont really understand the dolly wishes event. Do you tell them what kind of dolls you hope they release in the future? Or just talk about their dolls that you like? And then they pick the winner randomly...?
If thats all you have to do to enter, thats a pretty sweet deal!

@Cydril Thank you!! I noticed your Romantic Lady Bee arrived in the waiting list, Grats to you! How do you like the small bust? I've only seen owner pics of the other medium and large size so far & I've been curious about how it looks in person. I was tempted to order it myself but thought large bust might fill out more outfits in MSD size.

I'm really wondering about the dolly wishes event myself.. Maybe it's like a digital suggestion box? Or there is a poll perhaps? Hmm

I love the small bust! To me, it suits the rest of her body best since shes so tall and slender. PW did a really nice job not making her completely flat like a lot of companies do, haha

@Cydril - Oh you're such a Dear!! Thank you! Yes, the small bust is adorable and it's a bit bigger than I thought when compared to the company photos. You're right it looks lovely with her slim build, man if only I had those mile long legs! The white skin looks very fresh and creamy, big congrats!!

About the dolly wish event..I think they probably want to know which sculpt is the most loved..the prize is fixed..so is not that you get what you add in the whish list....unless..
