Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. @.lilli. - I've been a bit confused about the "Dolly wishes" draw as well so I went back and re-read it and it seems to me now that it is 2 events: The Photo Contest and The Dolly Wishes. I think the Lucky draw is going to be a random drawing of our Dolly Wishes lottery tickets.

    3. I have been reading through this thread and thought a picture I took a while ago might help with the Peak's Woods skin colors somewhat. They are larger dolls, but hopefully, this picture will give an idea of the differences in color.

    10. Oh my word...she's gorgeous!!!:o And I think I ordered those same eyes for my Romantic Mia so I'm super stoked! And another plus, I've been struggling all day trying to decide between wig colors, with Leeke's winter preorder coming up..and seeing the beautiful drama of that special faceup, I was able to make up my mind! Nothing like gorgeous and helpful eye-candy to brighten my day...so thanks!:)

      @PoeticSoul I'm right there with you on the vicarious life. Do you have an estimate of when your Romantic Mia will ship? My Romantic Lady Bee could be another eight months and that's only after I finish layaway. Two payments of four done so far. I think I'm in need of a serenity prayer. :)

    15. I'm actually looking at a couple of them that are a special pre-order (because my girl is on a long layaway, they'll still make it in plenty of time.) They are W145 and W146. I wanted her to have an Asian flare because she will be dressed exclusively in kawaii flannel kimonos. She will be my cute little kimono girl.:) My concern was if I got the limited wig color I truly wanted for her (Blackberry) would it be too strong for her faceup and Oscar eyes. But when I saw your Minuet, I knew she'd be dramatic enough to handle dark wigs.

      Oh yes, I certainly hear you on that! Actually my layaway is for a full 12 months!:...( I'm almost halfway through it so far, so it will be from 8 to 10 months before I ever see my girl. I'm only getting through it by telling myself that without that length, I just couldn't have gotten her at all so I should be thankful.;)

      @PoeticSoul Same here. If it weren't for layaway I'd never be able to buy a BJD. Nix is my first though, so I'm trying to be patient while also being extremely eager to have her. It's an odd mix of emotion. Your girl sounds like she's going to be well worth the wait. I love kawaii in general and flannel kimonos sound so precious (and comfy). I haven't bought anything for Nix yet. Must get on that!

    17. SamanthaMcKenny, you should take heart in the fact that you've chosen an amazing doll from an awesome company for your first BJD! Just let the comfort of how beautiful Romantic Lady Bee is going to be help you through all the waiting. While I wait, I always hang out in the discussion thread to enjoy the dolls and pick up tips. I spend time doing fun things like coming up with names, hunting down wigs, choosing clothing styles, coming up with a character...all that time-consuming stuff that makes the doll all the more dear to me. It not only helps to pass the time, but it actually enables me to bond with my doll before she ever arrives. That's how I handle it when my patience gets strained. And even if the doll arrives and tells me that's not who she is (it's only happened once, thank goodness) I at least had all the fun and excitement of preplanning, so it's all good.:)

    18. @PoeticSoul Flannel seems like an unusual fabric choice for kimono, although it certainly seems as though it would be comfortable for fall and winter. Are you planning on kawaii wa-lolita kimono with curves and lace for her or the more traditional lines?

      For my Dotty Muse, I'm thinking her primary style will be classic lolita with a touch of gothic lolita, since I got her fullset outfit. I don't have a name for her yet, but she's giving me the sense of a witty, well-disciplined personality, which will be an interesting contrast with the typical demure vibe associated with lolita. Who knows, though... by the time she arrives she may turn my ideas on their heads! :sweat I think she'll definitely scold me for accidentally choosing the wrong size for her shoes!

    19. Yes, flannel kimonos are certainly abnormal in the extreme! But I just adore the thought of her being all soft and cozy, with plenty of lace and cute decora and kawaii elements...almost like she's an adorable sugary kawaii plushie dressed in a traditional kimono form. The juxtaposition of that just slays me! And it's a good thing I can sew in order to pull off this unusual style.;)

      And Dotty Muse will be so perfect in Lolita...that beautiful wide-eyed face will look adorable in that style. Those outfits they released with the fullsets were positively stunning!:)
