It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Peak's Woods Mini Discussion Thread

Jun 15, 2008

    1. Thank you so much @faireva. :kitty2 I think white suits her, as well.

You're too sweet, @PoeticSoul. The eyes are Oscar Doll and I'm absolutely in love with them. :D

    2. Well, as dolls will often do, Acacia (my Romantic Lady Bee) entirely changed her name, style and character on me. She's now known as Lady Shandre, my beautiful fantasy-based beastmaster. She bumped another doll right out of the position too...but she's so gorgeous, how could I say no to her demands?;) I guess she had her heart set on a more serious role. No worries however...my incoming Romantic Mia will inherit all the cute fairy kei wear.

    3. Well, her character shift lasted all of 5 days.:doh Then I just couldn't take her seriousness any more! It was an interesting experiment, and she was certainly gorgeous in the more serious role. But I missed her cute, more carefree fairy kei persona so much. Does this kind of thing ever happen to anyone else? Please tell me I'm not the only one and my character-angst doesn't mean I'm crazy!:...(

Here is my lavender pink skin Lady Bee back to being Acacia:

    4. @PoeticSoul - I think Acacia rocks either style! People have different sides to their personality, and thus so can dolls. It gives her more dimension I think - my dolls tend to wear lots of different styles too.

    5. My Lady Bee arrived today. I'm in love.

    6. Oh wow, Karleecakes! Your Lady Bee is gorgeous! I love the way you've styled her...she looks amazing in that sweetness-and-light look...so demure and innocent.:D

And faireva, you're totally right of course. Dolls can certainly be multi-dimensional. It's just that my Lady Bee looked far too serious for my personal tastes when I changed her style. It's a testiment to the Lady Bee sculpt that it can throughly rock so many roles in such a complete way, but I truly missed her more light-hearted nature. Now she's once again changed her name...to Shalimar, but she's still retaining her fairy kei style for sure! Oh, the things we do to bond with our resin!

    7. Thanks so much. And I agree she can look so different depending on styling. I imagine mine will evolve as I buy her new outfits. Which she definitely needs!

    8. Congratulations!! I absolutely love her outfit~ :D If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it?

    9. @karleecakes - Oh my! I love your Lady Bee's dramatic lashes and she looks amazing in her full set outfit!

@PoeticSoul - Lady Bee is such a pretty sculpt, she looks very elegant no matter the style! I like her new name, it kinda sounds elvish to me.

    17. Ahaha~ wow, that makes me feel so nostalgic! :aheartbea I had the same kind of feelings when I first started looking into BJDs in 2010! The first doll I wanted was a Peak's Woods FoB... but by the time I could afford one, the line had been put on hold. Ahh, I'm so happy they're back now, and they have made such a glorious return with new owners and everything~! :D
