    1. @alington, I sooooo envy your collection of Code Noir outfits...they're incredibly stunning!:)

And Delphinia (my Romantic Lady Bee in lavender-pink skin) got a new set of antlers to add to her fairy kei look.

    2. @PoeticSoul - Ohh! I love those antlers! Are they magnetic or like a headband?

I changed Concetta to these crystal eyes, I like them but I think I'm going to change them to a coppery color to give her gaze some more "pop".

    3. Wow! @PoeticSoul i love those antlers! And her hair--so perfect! I'm a rep for Code Noir, and I've been bugging them for more colored mohair (I love the feel!). Where did you get the wig (and antlers, too)? I love her look!

@faireva, I adore those eyes. I think this size looks fantastic in Oscar doll (and other sparkles), as well as Enchanted Doll. I used to have an issue of spending $30-50 on a pair of eyes, until I saw what they look like in my doll. ;) Now, it's totally worth it! :) so pretty! Wait--is your girl tan?

    4. @alington - Yes, I really love this pair of eyes, Thank you! I'm not 100% happy with how they look in Concetta since they are colored so similar to her skintone. She is lavender-pink, it's just the lighting that gives her a more sunny tint since I took this photo on the covered patio. :kitty2 I have some bronze eyes incoming that I'm hoping will suit her more to my preference, or this dreamy gaze may grow on me and I might put those in another doll. I agree that quality eyes are great investment, in my opinion, they are the factor that contributes most to the expression of the doll.

    5. @faireva, oh my! Your girl is so gorgeous. In truth, I completely love her skintone and actually enjoy how different it can look in different lighting situations. Concetta is so beautiful! And I completely agree about quality eyes adding so much to the character of the doll. Once I find the perfect pair, that's it...the character keeps them for good! And to answer your question, Shalimar's antlers are magnetic. My dear hubby carefully drills holes in the headcap and embeds the magnets for me. He's done this for several of my dolls...the added benefit is that their wigs never slip and stay put perfectly that way.:)

@alington, her wig is actually made from a fiber called ingeo (I believe it's actually a derivitive of corn.) I was lucky enough to find a couple of these wigs in cotton candy colors for my Peakswoods romantic sisters by a talented wigmaker on Etsy. They look and feel just like cotton candy which is so perfect for their fairy kei look. And Shalimar's antlers are by Souldoll...I believe they were a winter event item. I was able to find them second hand in the DoA marketplace.

    6. @PoeticSoul - Oh! Your Hubby has skills, that's awesome, the antlers look great on her! I've never heard of ingeo wigs before, it looks really soft.
Eyes are one (of many) of my weak points. I'm always on the hunt for them.
The lavender pink is really pretty, it's delicate and versatile, I know some want it to be very vibrant but I'm happy with its subtle color since it's my first time having a fantasy colored doll I think it's opened my mind up to rare resin colors a bit.

    7. Does anyone have both a PW and Dikadoll BJD in their family? I really want to swap out my Koonie S' regular hands for jointed ones.

    8. Sorry, @terraform I don't have Dikadoll in my collection--but that would be very cool.

I do, however, have a little photo spam for you today. This is suntan Dotty Muse in Code Noir's Alice P Time (the blue "girl" version, with a skirt):

I wish the outfit included panties, since her long legs are very long and the skirt is quite short in front. :) The boy version, instead of the hi-lo skirt, has shorts, which is really cute, and solves the problem.

I thought I was "over" Alice--I used to collect every outfit related to Alice in Wonderland, but it got--well, out of control, as you might imagine. So I stopped. But now, I just can't help myself. I just love this one. :)

    10. @alington - My dolls are jealous of your doll's wardrobe! >.< I hope you can bring some of those cute sailor shoes to bjdc! <3

    11. Oh yes, I will be bringing some! They are really fun. I love that they can be worn with or without the ankle decoration. So my girls have had to part with their Alice outfits, but before I redressed them, I took a few photos of Mia in the red (boy) version of Alice P Time:

I think I might like the boy version even better than the girl one. And the wig--oh my goodness. I have always loved fantasy colored hair (like my own), but mohair is so cool. It looks so natural!

    12. Can anyone tell me how much the points are worth? I have 30 points. So does this mean I have $30 worth? 0.0

    13. So am I correct in assuming that PW dolls are considered slim MSDs? I don't want to buy the wrong clothes...

I think so, as that seems to be the standard for companies. Not sure though.

    14. Just to say hello to everyone, I'm Barry, obviously new to DoA, my absolute favourite doll sculpt is FOB KoonieS.

My first KoonieS has been with me for four years and by now I have four of them. When I researched for her online before purchase, I only see one icon-sized owner photo in default make-up on Google, now she finally get more publicity I'm so glad.

Those various KoonieS owned by you guys are so beautiful, makes me want to collect even more of her, in different colours.

Here are three of my KoonieS, one is still away for make-up:

They are called "Baby" with no official name, my bad, naming dolls isn't my usual practice.
All of them have their own bodies though in setting they are the same person :P

      This is the original Baby:

Finally this is the sleeping Baby:

That's it for now, I'll come back to show off my vampire baby when she got back, thanks for reading :)

    15. I'm not a FOB owner yet, but just wanted to pop in and say your KoonieS collection is gorgeous!! Such lovely girls! :love I look forward to seeing your vampire KoonieS once she returns from her faceup artist. :)

    16. Thank you very much :) I hope when you get a FOB it'd be a KoonieS. Me too look forward to her return, hopefully it'll be soon.

    17. You're very welcome! :daisy

And oh, it will be a KoonieS! She is my favorite FOB sculpt! :D Her eye shape makes me swoon, especially---she's so versatile, too.

    18. @barrytrotter - Your darling Baby is so sweet, I love her multiple incarnations. I peeked at your Flickr and the group photos of the Peak's Woods dolls are stunning! I would love to be at this doll meet. :nosebleed

    19. Can anyone post a picture of Dotty Muse from a side view? I would like to see her face profile.

    20. I'd love to see this too! I'm so excited because I just ordered my long-sought-after Dotty Muse from PeaksWoods just a few moments ago. As it turns out, having to wait was actually a blessing because I was now able to order her in their new emerald green skin...it's so gorgeous!:) I'm getting her as the re-released vampire "school of rock" limited with vampire make-up and green manicure.
