I'm working on a fantasy outfit for my Mia, I need to fix the sleeves and add accents to it. But I like how it's coming.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I'm quite stoked about it. I was so enamored with their emerald green skin when I first saw it on their tinies, and when I saw they'd re-released their vampire school of rock minis with that skin color as an option, I just had to go for it! I'd been wanting a Dotty Muse ever since she came out, and I really feel that I've been able to order her in the perfect skin color/face-up combination. Of course she's on a long layaway and it will take a long time before she arrives, but at least I know I'm getting her.

I just ordered dolls from Peak's Woods including in the lavender-pink skin tone and can't wait for them to come! I have loved Alington's Mia and got her for myself. Well in several months, LOL. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you with dolls in lavender-pink found it harder to dress them due to color problems. I love PW Lady Bee in white with a white wig, but can't see dressing more than one doll like that - at a time. So any colors that don't look good with that skin tone?

You need the part of the image url that starts with http:// and ends in .jpg, .gif, or .png.

 

@Goldie - I love your username! And major congrats on ordering Mia de Butterfly!! She has such cute round cheeks.
I think the Lavender-pink dolls look good in neutrals (white, stone, brown, grey, tan, maroon, navy, black), colors in the purple-red range for a monotone type look, mint or light blue or pastels for fun contasting look. It's a surprisingly versatile color.

@Waflicka - You're girl looks like such a fair maiden in this style outfit, I love the burgandy color on her too.

 

@Goldie, I have a romantic Mia and a romantic Lady Bee in lavender pink skin and I dress mine in pastels. It's actually a very versatile color like faireva has said, and I truly doubt there's any color they can't wear.

 

Hi, I'm new to the thread! When I saw that PW was retiring the basic FOB line I decided to put a Dotty Muse on layaway, and offered to put dolls on layaway for my sister and her best friend. I didn't realize that this qualified me for a free doll with the Halloween event until they emailed me to ask what I wanted for my free doll! So I'm getting a Romantic KoonieS in lavender pink skin! I was really trying to decide between Dottie Muse and Romantic KoonieS and I'm so excited that I get to have both! Now it's just a matter of surviving the loooooooong layaway!

 

@sailorchiron, how wonderful that PeaksWoods caught that qualification on your order! It's like a nice surprise bonus for helping your sister and her friend get their dolls too. When I purchased my Romantic Mia, I was also torn between two dolls...and fortunate enough to find the other one later with everything I wanted right here in the marketplace, so I wound up being able to get her too in the end. But come on now...getting your other one as a free bonus is very fortunate indeed! I'm so happy it worked out for you.

 

I realized I haven't shared my Mia --- she is much cuter than crummy pic. I wanted to show how well RL WC outfit fits her.

Hi everyone! I'm kind of a transplant from the Fairies of Colors thread. I just adopted a Mia off the MP yesterday, my first PW MSD. Probably a silly idea because I literally just bought a house, but her price was too good to pass up. My my big PW girls will have a little sister. I'm a touch excited.

 

@velouriumxcamper, ooh-h-h I'm so happy you snagged that great deal in the marketplace because I've been fighting so hard with myself NOT to buy her! I already have two of the romantic mini girls with that same gorgeous face-up and skin color, plus a third mini girl currently on layaway with PeaksWoods, and I just couldn't justify the purchase no matter how awesome that deal was! So heartfelt congratulations to you on a fabulous find! I hope you'll share photos of her here once she arrives.
