1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Peak's Woods Mini Discussion Thread

Jun 15, 2008

    1. @Cats56 Congrats! How do you plan to style yours?

    2. I'm planning on making her a witch inspired doll! I've been eyeing up a purple and black witch's outfit on Legend Doll, which I better order quick or she's going to have no clothes when she arrives! I've got a black twin tail wig for her too.

    3. Sounds super cute, especially if there's a big witch hat! Hopefully she arrives to you swiftly! :3nodding:

    4. Does anyone know which sculpt this is in this listing ? I presume she’s a mini since the part is for a mini?

      FOB Antenna

thanks to anyone who can identify her!

    5. I can't tell. She reminds me of FOC Wake up Goldie. But she may be a FOB, Romantic Koonie, Mia, etc.

    6. thank you for the response

I definitely think she’s got to be one of the romantic sculpts. Lady Bee maybe, especially after seeing some pics someone else posted a few pages back, but I am not sure!

    7. I'm pretty certain you're right and that's an FOB Romantic Lady Bee.

    9. Hello everyone ❤️ I’m currently waiting on a Kuna head, and was wondering what eye size will fit her the best? It says 14mm eyes on their website, but which iris size?

    10. Is anyone else seen the new FOB Dandy boys? I'm really tempted by Lune but I have to wait

    11. I have seen them. I am really excited they have startet msd boys, though I am not sure what to think about the size. 50cm is an untypical size, and it could be difficult to find clothes that fit.

    12. Yeah that's true... I'm curious if they could fit Luts Model 51 clothes, but I can't think of much else beyond that.

    13. I've been waiting for many years for there to be an "MSD" boy and I don't think I'm a fan. I'm a little bummed. Their leg length and foot size is about the exact same as SD10 and their upper torso is just a little too big in places for MSD. Above all their neck/torso piece looks like it belongs on a different doll. Like they were assembling it and grabbed the wrong piece?? Even the shoulder gap on the arms is weird. It's so strange and disproportionate looking. I was expecting them (and hoping) to make the MSD boys similar to the Dandy 61 size and look, but they made it close to the 68.

I really just don't have nice things to say. The "pin head sitting on top of a massive neck/torso" look that's popular in Korea is starting to wear on me and seems to be everywhere now. It's why I steered away from their 68 line with most heads. I like Peakswoods because their dolls looks magical and just unique enough, but I am not a fan of this at all. And after being in the hobby for like 12 years now I'm kind of allergic to dolls I can't fit in standard sizes lol. But thats just me.

They said they would pass along the feedback to the sculptor, so if anyone else shares me feelings I would encourage you to message them on their Q&A with some kind words of feedback. Some companies offer neck size options, so I just kind of suggested it. I was really hoping for a traditional MSD size :/

    14. I am glad someone else feels like this. I was deeply disappointed to see the msd boy.
It's pretty much a shrunken version of the Dandy body. It's extremely thin and muscular and absolutely don't work with the msd girl. Proportions in itself also don't look exactly good to me..

The girl body looks like a "young girl" but the boy is so much bigger and grown looking that the looks don't match.
I was really hoping for a boy version of their fob girl. But that's just a strange size whatever thing.

    15. Glad I'm not the only one who wasn't thrilled about the new body. I was really expecting/hoping for it to be more youthful like the girls are. It looks like a young boys face slapped on an adults body.

The neck and shoulders I think bother me the most. They're so broad that the head doesn't seems to fit properly.

    16. Also glad I'm not the only one. I'm a little more than bummed - I'm pretty disappointed and a little upset. I just didn't want people to think I was trashing on them, because I'm not. I just can't believe he's so big and awkward and mature. A Peakswoods MSD boy would have been a dream come true if they were like the girls.

But again, I'm saying I strongly encourage people to just go to their QA and tell them this/that you were expecting an MSD or boyish size. It's not mean and they were very receptive and said no hard feelings when I was telling them how I felt. They did say they would talk to the sculptor and just give feedback. It's valuable even if it's not 'happy'.

But for now I guess I'm saving money. I used to joke for years that if they ever came out with MSD boys I would go broke fast lol, so this is a huge let down :( I'm just happy I'm not alone feeling like this.

    17. Exactly my thoughts!
I don't even have anything to add to this since I'm not verbal enough.
