1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Peakswoods 26cm Fairies of Fairy Tales discussion part 2

May 29, 2015

    1. I'm coming to lurk because I just put 3 FOF's on lay-a-way and a FOB. It will be a very very long wait for them though because I won't be able to pay them off for a very long time....

    2. Congratulations asunai.
Which FOF's did you order? You will have a ready made family:)

    3. Congrats on your amazing order! :D I'm also interested in learning who you will be adding to your collection. I'm sure they will all be worth the wait! ;)

    4. thanks everyone! took me a few days to be able to actually hit the confirm order button but my brain wouldn't stop dancing with images of a a little coven of baby vampires! :) I've always rather loved vampire Hucky in the blue grey and Dorothy in the green captured me with her big green eyes.
I'm planning on ordering the black and the white version of the Bones lolita dresses from FeerieDollAterlier on etsy for Dorothy and Sassy Rosy, and ordering some of the fabric (hopefully in a dark blue) to make coordinating outfits for the twins Fox Goon and Hucky.
Still searching for wigs and eyes but I foresee a For My Doll order in my future. I think the hardest part for me is actually the shoes right now. Nothing I look at seems quite right yet. ah well, I have plenty of time. :sweat

I'm rather looking forward to seeing all the vampire orders start rolling in next year.

    5. @CuriousRaven that sounds exciting :D What kind of shoes are you looking for?

@asunai congrats on the huge order! I'm also curious in which sculpts you chose :)

    6. I'm getting...

FOF Naomi Normal Skin Girl Body, FOF Vampire Dorothy - Lavender Pink Skin Girl Body, FOF Cheshire Goon Normal Skin Girl Body & FOB Mia De Butterfly Normal Skin Large Bust Split Thigh. :)

    7. I just ordered a vampire Rosy in purple skin! I'd been eyeing the sculpt since it was released but the fangs really sold me. <3 Not sure if I'm going to call her Lucy or Lucille.

    8. Congrats! :daisy Both names sound great!

    9. @asunai wow great sculpts :D!!! congrats~

@s1257 congrats!!! Love both names but I think Lucille suits the sculpt a bit more haha, might be just me :D I love Rosy in lavender skin~

    11. I am very excited! trying not to get too worked up though as I know I have quite a wait ahead of me even if I do manage to pay off early in Jan. tbh, I'm not 100% sure of what I want other than that I don't want basic mary janes or loafers. I was looking thru yosd shoes everywhere and so far the only ones that have made it on my list of possibilities are the black bow boots from Code Noir for the girls and the more basic black boots for the boys. I might hafta start poking around on taobao to see what other options I can find but taobao is so dangerous because I always spend more than I mean to. haha

    12. Have you looked at M-Style? They offer some shoes for 1/6 dolls beyond basic MJs and loafers. :daisy

I look forward to seeing your Dorothy! She'll make an adorable witch. :D

    13. some pink Alice spam... :D

    18. Can anyone tell me if recent batches of Peak's Woods WS is closer to paper white or cream (yellow undertones)?

Any and all help would be appreciated! :daisy

    19. Has there been a time when it was more cream? I'd actually like that. Mine is from 3 years ago and is closer to paper white - same as most of the PW white dolls I've seen photos of. I'm really not that fond of it, probably wouldn't order another one

    20. Thank you very, very much for sharing your experiences! I really appreciate it. :)

And the reason I mentioned cream because I know some companies offer WS with yellow undertones, while others are stark white. I had seen some WS Peak's Woods but the photos were a few years old. :sweat So I can't say whether or not the color has changed any over the years.

      Thanks again!
