I also adore the Sassy Rose sculpt . Just those big eyes and I think she would look amazing in tan. I already got the Tristan on layaway though >.<

 

@Lelite Sassy rosy is adorable isn't her? It must be hard to decide when you have been out of the hobby for so long so I won't say you should get her. She is not limited so you can always get her later if you decide to be more involved in the hobby. Only the special colors are limited (lavender pink, suntan and blue grey).

@designedforsmiles the full set is gorgeous!!! Share tons of pictures if you do get it I only got the doll with no face up or anything extra, except the fist hands, they are so cute hehe~ I have a bunch of yoSD clothes that my Lady Alice uses so they will be sharing the lot XD I read in PW facebook that Rosy will be at the PNW BJD con

@stellarphenomena limited colors will be sold for an entire month so you still have a lot of time

@EmmiImee I agree, tan will suit the sculpt a lot!!! Wich I could get more than one XD You can always get Rosy later in one of their normal colors and focus on Tristan now

 

I thought she was limited...does it say she will be able to be ordered anytime? That would be great. Except her red outfit...!

so I would assume that Sassy Rosy would be available as a basic doll even after the release, just only in Normal Skin or White Skin.

All told, the price of the fullset with all the works is a little more than I can justify right before PNW... while I love the lavender-pink, I do already have a doll in that color, and I don't think I would mind getting Sassy Rosy later on in White Skin. It's just the thought of that precious rosy outfit that eats away at me! That petal-design skirt! The roses in her bonnet! Those adorable floral socks! I love it so much but it's so hard to commit!

 

Yeah I understand the same, all dolls will be available as basics in normal and white skin after the event and basic face up too. Outfits and special colors are limited.

Full set is really expensive, that's true I've never bought any full sets because the price go up so fast haha and since I already spent quite a lot in face up supplies might as well put them to good use too, so default face ups are out of the question, though PW does the most gorgeous face ups out there.

My Lady Alice has default face up and it is stunning, wish I was half as good XD it must be nice to receive a doll ready to play.

I wonder if the fist hands options will be included in all basics from now on or just for the event.

 

Wow...just went to price out Tan Rosy + face-up and outfit.... $492...

Normal/white skin with face-up...$322.

Ah unfortunately I like my tan dolls so if I want Rosy I better go for her soon. I did get a fat tax return and a new job recently so gosh it's so tempting... But I have a full month to decide, so, no need to rush.

I almost never buy fullsets or even face-ups because my ideas for dolls are so weird that I rarely find fullsets to match. I think Rosy could have a tiny hint of a smile painted on her and she'll look even sassier....

 

Yeah, I'm right there with you! The fullset exactly as they have it comes out to $601 not counting shipping... so I'm talking myself down piece by piece like everyone else. I have faceup supplies except for eyelashes, but I could buy some later and apply them with my own faceup... and I already have a lavender-pink doll so I would consider white skin... and I could buy Oscar eyes and red Mary Jane shoes later or even in a different color or style... and I could get a wig later from a different company... and it LOOKS like fist hands will be available as basic parts after the release as well... the only thing I'm absolutely set on is the outfit, which I won't be able to get anywhere or anytime else! Which brings it way down from $601 to $372.

That said, I'm so moved that Peak's Woods is willing to do pre-orders as well as a thank-you event for PNW BJD Con attendees! I had asked them about it since it seemed like a really short period of time to get the dolls ready and I was worried about not being able to pick up in person, but I'm grateful that they're at the very least willing to see if they can put a rush on it depending on how many orders they get.

 

@designedforsmiles that's super cool!! and I read that they will be giving free heads for preorders in that event? wish they did any BJD event in my country for companies to attend but that isn't gonna happen any time soon XD we are just not that many

 

Yes, they're giving free heads, chosen at random, in addition to pre-orders for PNW.

Another doll I've been looking at came up last minute, though, so I'm passing on the preorder after all... Although I'm sad to pass up that beautiful Sassy Rosy outfit, I'm sure I'll find something else to tempt me at the Peak's Woods booth at PNW!

 

The Pinocchio sculpt is adorable! That little nose is one of the nicest I've seen, I'm so glad they are going to release him as a default sculpt he might be making his way to my wishlist.
@Shchel Your boy is lovely, his clothes seem so comfy cute and his face up is so delicate.

Sassy Rosy is also looking tempting with those big ol' eyes, shame the full set is pricey but what can we expect from limited editions?

Sassy Rosy is just beautiful.

 

I think they pose very naturally, love that the arms are double jointed.

Hi everyone, would you mind if I ask you something? My PW Leo head in white skin arrived home a few days ago, and it is a little smaller than my expectation. I planned on putting it on a Doll Love body but now it doesn't seem to work anymore, they fit very well, but head seem to be smaller than the body. Can you recommend me a yosd boy body that will work for PW head?

Hmm, the only YoSD-size dolls I have are Peak's Woods and FairyLand, which work pretty well together in terms of proportion, but the WS are not a good match together. I think Soom Teenie Gem is also similar in proportion, but I'm not sure how the WS resin match would be since I've never owned one or compared in person.
