Pets for your BJDs / finding or making one

Lol, I have a pet shiba and am working on making one for my dolls ^.^.

And for further posters, what are your poseable pets. not just stuffed animals and such. ^.^ Maybe with wire or action figure joints.

And I think that the souldoll and petdolls would be on topic as accessories for bjds just not as dolls themselves. My dolls need a pet that is not 4 times their size! That soul doll dog is coolio, needs a bit shorter neck but very neat! If he had floppy ears he would look a lot like my Gypsy! Anyone have one? What scale are they to? That Camellia Dynasty Wong - cat is adorable too.

Ahhh pet wise, I emailed the Camilla Dynasty person and they said they will have Wong available again in 3 months and are going to work on another pet too!

 

OK seriously...

DO YOU COMPANIES REALIZE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU COULD BE MAKING...

making scale sized BJD pets that have great joints?

I myself would love a bjd horse for the elf I getting but not willing to buy the horse from souldoll as it cost more then both of my dolls I have planned put together almost O.O ouch

 

Well it makes sense that it is more expensive - Domuya's Nightmare too - after all, there are more complicated pieces, a greater number of pieces, more resin and elastic used, and a smaller customer base. I think they are fair priced considering all those things, plus the difficulty of designing the multi jointed legs.

That said I cannot afford a Nightmare right now. Sob. We will see how much the Companion model is. I am on the lookout for other poseable horses in scale though. I have looked at pretty much everything available and not been satisfied, so I will just be patient.

Honestly I am selling my my human dolls - I will keep one, and I am gonna just give her lots of pets! Just gotta be patient till I get the ones I want!

 

I was thinking of this the other day. My girl is a soulkid and she has some of the only hearts club teddy bears as toys, but doesn'thave a cat or dog.

I have looked at the Webkinz and some of the smaller ones would make a great puppy or kitten for an msd

 

Yes but they are not poseable.... I am not a fan of stuffed animals as pets myself, though I know some ppl are.

I'm still playing around and finding what she's like/poseability etc, and finding at this point she's more like a "cartoon cat" joint wise, than a real cat, somewhere between an actual cat and and anthro. (she's so sweet)

for size reference there's my hand (i'm a small-mediumish sized human) and her dress is a rement.

I have a Petdoll Ant {kitty} but animal BJD's are Off topic on DoA, they have to be shown with an On Topic doll..but they are a good size for SD's, Domuya's dog and horse are off topic also..so you may not see many on here. Anthros are fine though.
and I don't think Petdolls are made anymore..
