Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Congrats on the arrivals!

      The rabbit is delightfully creepy and so is baby Alice!
      OE Alice is so pretty!!! In a sickly and creepy sorta way and that is absolutely perfect!
      I didn't realize her head is so much bigger than Alk's tho.

    2. I know! When I opened her box I thought she just seemed generally larger than the other Yo-SD's I've had, but when I put her next to Toby I realized it really was just her bulbous head that made her look so big. XD
      I mean, Soom dolls have slightly smaller heads to begin with, but my Alice's head is quite large.
      They both look proportionate though, so I guess it's just the polar ends of the spectrum for suitable head size.

    3. Aww, everyone's arrivals are gorgeous. ;~; I really hope Pipos makes a Basic Dark Rabbit, but when I asked they said they didn't have any plans for one (..yet! please?).

    4. Has anyone asked about a basic Alice relaease? I know they often change the name of the sculpt when they release it as a basic...

      I did post the question on the Q & A board under the Korea section ( my mistake) and have'nt gotten an answer yet.

    5. Mari is basic Alice.
      Pipos also said that they will be releasing half closed eyes doll in Nov so that may be the half close eyes Alice basic.

    6. Yes, but Mari is in normal skin. I am hoping for a basic Mari/Alice in white skin. Good to know the closed-eye version might be available...*keeping fingers crossed*

      I have searched everywhere and could'nt find where the info came from about Pipos offering a closed-eye version of Alice in November. Would love a link to the source.

    7. If they do release Mari in white skin, I don't think she'll have the torso that Alice has. Alice has a solid piece for her torso, unlike the other dolls.

    8. That would be fine with me and actually I would prefer it. My Red Queen is the best posing doll I have ever had and I love the torso joint. Plus, those biggie boobs are a little strange on such a juvenile sculpt too, but if that is the only choice and it comes out in white skin, I will take it.

    9. Just asking for a clarification... Has Pipos actually SAID that the Mari is the Alice sculpt... cause I look at them and see similarities... but they're not the same at all. And if she is the Alice, why isn't she called "Alice" - most companies don't change a sculpt's name.

      just to explain: Have been looking at the photos of both and while they have the same general face shape and a similar pout - the Alice's mouth is bigger and not as shaped, her eyes are a completely different shape - flatter across the top and generally bigger. Their noses are their biggest similiarity.

    10. Thay also made basic of the White & Red Queens. They also did not call them basic White & Red Queen. They named then Joel & Noel. Which is why it think they named basic Alice Mari. Oh and don't forget about basic Mad Hatter who is named Ron.

    14. Man I started this hobby too late - I'm loving that Cheshire Cat (all of them really) Methinks I'll be putting him on my wishlist :)

      Cats are essential for me, and I know when I get my girl she will need a little BJD pet :)

    17. Don't worry, Chana - I had to wrap my Alice back up, as she's meant to be my Christmas gift too. I only got to open her to check that everything was there. So torturous!

    18. I won't even do that! As it is a rule in our house if the doll is a Christmas present then someone else gets to check on it. My mom got a Bambi Ozzie and I got to do the honors of checking him out. And she'll do the same for my rabbit no doubt. He was purchased with the intention of being a present...just wanted to hold the box...wiggle it a bit. Not shake. Could you imagine?!

    19. That would have been the case with my Alice too, but no one in my family really knows much about BJDs and had no idea what she came with, so it was agreed that I would do it.

    20. Yea when I saw PixiStyx's video on youtube I was like, "OMG I HATE CHU XDD"! If only I had enough money saved up I would have gotten her as well. She truly is lovely ;_;. *huge fan of alice in wonderland...* Oh and btw ^-^ *HUGS PIXISTYX* :D Congrats on getting her love! ^_^
