What do you mean by basic? He's available with or without faceup, with or without cheese and with or without "clothing" - how much more basic can they get? Or do you mean not cheese colored?? Denver Doll Emporium has him on their website, along with Alice and Mad Hatter, but only in the complete package.
I, too, am having trouble resisting the cheese mouse and table and chairs...so far, so good, but today is my birthday....I don't think I can manage to get thru the day without an order..LOL

DOES THIS MEAN CHEESE IS A BASIC? 8DD I hope so! I want to get one so bad... I should start saving! >3< All of the pictures are sooo cute. ;w;
Aisu, what do you mean by "basic"? it's available in a bare-bones kind of way without the outfit and faceup if you want (as katandthefids pointed out) so that is fairly basic, but Cheese will only be available (in this version) until June 20th (so it's time-limited to the AiW2 schedule). They may or may not issue Cheese in a different resin color/outfit etc. by "basic" do you mean a traditional no-frills faceup and whiteskin maybe? if so, nobody but pipos knows their plans. Note though that most "basics" are now time-limited from Pipos, so you won't necessarily be able to pick one up whenever you want (or have the $$$) later. But you *can* do a layaway with them so you could save now, see how far you get, and maybe do a layaway if you can afford it before the June 20th deadline ...
Not cheese coloured. I thought Basic meant the whole not limited thing, like, say, Cheshire. There's a LE Cheshire; the Minty, or the Basic Cheshire. Same thing, different resins. See where I'm coming from? And there's me thinking saying a Basic version meant a Basic version. I thought that wasn't hard to understand. Those new pictures make me squee!
Someone help me out. I love PIPOS, but have never gone for the plunge and don't really know how they operate. So, like, can I not get Cheese at all after June 20th, or will he just be a basic in different colors? Gosh, I want him!!!
it is when it comes to Pipos Take "Basic Bao" - he was offered as a "basic" but he didn't come in regular white skin, he was only offered in Beige and Grey, he was also time-limited and not available all of the time but for a short period of time. some people wouldn't consider that "basic" but some people would. That's where it becomes confusing I think the Cheese sculpt will probably be offered again (he is popular and Pipos usually doesn't do a sculpt without doing more "versions"), but who knows in what resin color or if it will be a true basic or another limited or time-limited one? We can only guess. There is also no guarantee if they do re-release him that it will be anytime soon - look at how long the Namoo people have been waiting!
Well, I meant that it was like the "Basic Chesire" and "Basic Dali" which are still available now even though their event is over. But I guess Cheese is part of the event, then. D: Hopefully they'll release more versions later, though! ^^;
OK - it's a semantics thing. To me, Basic means "without all the stuff." To you, it means not in limited edition and in ordinary colored resin. I guess I'm used to some of the other companies, that have basics or full sets. I rarely order full sets, because I like doing my own clothing. To me, Cheese in a resin that isn't cheese colored wouldn't be Cheese - he would just be another mousie!! He wouldn't be nearly as precious if he wasn't cheese colored, although he would still be cute!! But that's just me.
Basic to me means without all the other stuff (that they're optional). Have to agree Chees Mouse is available as a basic already. Otherwise, all pipos would have to be considered limiteds cuz they're only sold in certain resin colors and available limited time (And thus there would be no Basics).
