Pipos PO-11 Wonderland releases

Wonderland Release #1 was quantity limited, release #2 was time limited, so there isn't any real precedent yet. but if I had to guess, I'd guess time limited since that was the last one they used.

With the first release it took a few days for the 2 popular cheshire cats to sell out, with a few Dali and Shy Cheshire available for a while.

Hope that helps, my memory is a bit rusty, but that's how I remember it.

I wish I'd been around during the first couple releases, the Mad Hatter is so adorable! *A* I love seeing all the photos of everyone's boys on here! (And the Moody Cheshire is my new grail doll! XD)

I've taken a look at the new wonderland PO-11's but although both are cute neither one says "buy me!". I'm pretty happy with my alice jr, Eli.

 

The Red Queen is just amazing! The White Queen looks adorable too, in fact, I'm pretty sure I need her fullset outfit for my Alice Jr. I hope I can jump on a split for it!

I'm not used to anything below 60cm, let alone girls. Have any Alice Jr. Mommies found non-Pipos clothes that fit her well? All the YoSD clothes buy Rubi are too big for her.

 

Does anyone have an idea of how much the two queens may run USD wise?
any advice is welcomed

 

Both Alice Jr. and the Mad Hatter cost $400 when they were released. I would assume that the queens would be priced similarly.

I think Alice Jr would look awesome in those outfits. I tried a Dancing Bee outfit on my Alice Jr and it fit her pretty good. Dancing Bee is on etsy and she makes things for the Little Fees and Pukifees.

I did. The jacket is especially nifty, because I lined the inside in white fabric w/ pink polka dots. Nobody ever sees the lining, but it make me happy to know there are polka dots inside her jacket. I'm a wierd one.

My style tends to lean towards vintage little-girl stuff. I use vintage lace on my doll clothes because it looks so much better than the new nylon stuff.

I've been looking at the red and white queens some more, and they're growing on me. I agree that these fullsets will probably also be $400 usd, like the Alice and Mad Hatter fullsets. I'm curious though if the white queen will only be offered in white skin. I'm also curious if they'll do a basic version. They both have such interesting eye shapes, I wonder how they would do basic faceups.

I think the Red Queen would look amazing with a different wig, I really love how just the center of her lips is painted. Very Elizabeth (if I have my period fashion correct...)

 

I agree with you on the wig on the Red Queen. It just doesn't look right to me- didn't the RQ have black hair?

 

MeliCat, your Ruby looks so different than the other alice jr's I've seen. The black hair looks good!

Kadepie, it sort of looks to me that they reused the red mohair wig from the second PO-11 release, the one that the girl is wearing. I'm not sure if the red queen in the book had black hair, but it would definitely make an interesting contrast. However, maybe they just wanted to go for an all red theme, like how the white queen as all white, even her skin.

 

I'll be buying the red queen if anyone is interested in a split. ill put the ad up as soon as i se epics of her & am absolutely sure im buying her. when will they post MORE pics of her other then just her face??

 

Miomo, what would you be splitting from the red queen set? I'm interested in a pair of normal skin clenched hands and maybe a large bust piece, because I didn't get them when I got my alice. >.<

Hello, I am new to pipos can you no longer get the Alice?? She is my favorite. And I would like to get Curo too but they all say sold out??

Can you still get Ron basic? I was thinking of making him into an Alice. Won't have that great outfit though .

 

the fullset wonderland Alice w/ the limited faceup you can on longer get. However, they do have a basic Alice. I looked at the site just now and all the PO-11 dolls are all sold out at the moment, but I'm sure they'll restock and they have basic options too.

 

there are several Curos in the DOA Marketplace (at least there were last time i checked) ... I have no idea when Pipos plans on re-stocking the curo.

 

I finally came across the pictures of the queen of hearts and I must say pipos.... How could you do this to me!!!! I am just in love with her pouty lips and that devilish little glare. I am hoping that I can scrape together enough to get her, maybe I can pull of getting her in a split or something (hmmmmm)

I am a little sad that I don't like the white queen more as she has always been my favorite character in the books. (I was even the white queen in a play once!)

Out of curiosity, because I am new to the world of pipos limited dolls, do they tend to release the limited dolls as standard at a later date? (for example without the limited makeup and outfit but just as a blank standard?)

 

akasora, I think the safest answer is always maybe. Alice Jr. was not released as a standard (and she is incredible).
The Red Queen is killing me. This is the first time in a long while that a doll has made me feel quite ill (as in ouch! this is going to hurt my wallet!)
Maybe I am missing it, but is there a measurement chart for the Pos?
