Playing Favorites

Nara has a special place in my heart, my first, my most expensive, the one who all the others fit in with.

I love them all, but some are more play-able than others, for instance Malachi will not stand without a fight and therefore I don't play with him much and it makes me sad and Yukiko is tiny so doesn't get played wiht as much as she is a little less poseable.


I htink it is natural to favour a doll, and for that favourite to change several times!

 

Well I can't say much b/c I don't have my other boys yet, but I'll say this from their character standpoint.

So my boys are rp characters of mine, and they'll be dolls sooner or later.

I have to admit though...I do play favorites at times. ^^' I feel guilty sometimes, but I can't help it. Though it's always a kind of phase with me. Such as Isacaria. He was my first rp character, and I loved him so, then I made secondary characters to interact with him (these secondary characters I don't pay much attention to, I admit ^^'), then after a while I made a new character, Karl, my awesome zombie boy. So all my love went to him and I had neglected Isa for the longest time.

But then my characters' backstories went through a revamp and then I paid more attention to Isa again. I guess it just depends on the times...^^'

 

My favourite doll generally changes everytime I get a new one. Its kind of like "Ohh, you're so pretty!" because, even though its not that I get bored of the other ones, its just nice to have something new to look at. ^^;

 

I often find myself playing favorites. I love all three of my boys to death, but Karrian gets the most attention. Whenever I'm upset, he's always the one I cuddle. I give him faceups most often, and I find myself focusing on him the most. He seems to be closest to me, mostly because he was created as a roleplay character almost three years ago. Karo and Sultra came to me with their own personalities, and grew from there -- but I feel like I've known Karrian the longest, even though he's my youngest doll. ^_^ (Oldest in character age, though. xD)

 

I have been playing favourites with my new girl Sky (Sweet Dreams Kaede) ^^ I think she has made me fall in love with girl dolls I take her every where.

I mean even though My biy Zi is off for a face-up its hard to say I am playing favs but I think even if he was here I'd still be head over heels for Sky
It does make me feel a little guilt hehe XD

 

Shamelessly. My first boy is my favourite. I love them all, but he's special to me. I also probably favour my new boy a bit because other people lavish attention on Hiroji and Kurah.

 

Hmmm, I feel kinda bad saying it but if I could only keep one doll It'd automatically be Micah..( sorry Lichuen...) He's the one I mainly do Photostories about...I think it's because he's sort of the odd one out...I mean My family plan consist of 7 member 3 girls and 4 boys. Each boy has a girl...except for Micah so I like to keep him close...

I'll go through phases of being completely infatuated with one of my dolls at a time.
Jinsung is the only one of my boys that I snuggle with regularly. Dae is only cuddled when I am feeling extra crappy, or really sick.. Ollie is almost never cuddled. XD It's just sort of.. in order of when I got them, I guess. ;__;

 

I love all my boys dearly, but Shin is my favourite. Maybe it's because the other two boys seem somewhat aloof (Raidan) and...err...haughty (Lucah) and Shin looks so friendly (and mischievous), I don't know. But he is, and always has been, my favourite.

ETA: Yeah, I just noticed that none of their pics suggest they're even remotely close to the way I've described the boys Time for some new pics, I think.

 

Oh yeah I play favourites (I don't mean to and I feel so guilty when I realize that I am doing it).

I love the weight Kaito has to him (he's a SD size), he's very reassuring and always just falls into comfortable positions with me so I take him with me everywhere (I even carry him around the house with me). But Shreddie is an MSD and whilst he is cute and poses like a dream I just don't have as close a bond with him as I do with Kaito (although I suppose that could be because he is new, I mean it was a little bit like that with Kaito when he first got here).

But oddly I do feel insanely guilty when I realize I'm paying one of my boys more attention than the other...

 

I really like all my boys very much, and can't think of parting with them. But like most others, my first boy -Miya(BF Kyle)- is my love and can never part with him, even if he eventually turns into dust!

 

Most certainly, Asher is my favourite. He was my first. I did feel guilty at first, but once I admitted to myself that I favoured him over the others, then it stopped bothering me. I still pay attention to the rest of the crew, but Asher is my special boy.

 

I don't even have two complete dolls and I'm already playing favorites. Morgan for a little over a year and but I seem to pay a lot more attention to my incomplete Leslie. I talk about him all the time and I've already made him two fancy outfits.

What to do?

 

I love all my dolls, but Iris and Doyle seem to get the most attention. They were my first two dolls (even though Doyle was just a head for a while), and I definitely seem to play favorites. I try not to... but it just kind of happened that way.

My dollie gang has been growing over the last few months and though I love them all, I cant help but have a favorite
Dalamar has more clothes than anyone else and always gets what he wants, he even has a big iron bed, some furniture and basicly everything he could need he's my special, mixed up, magic using, leather loving half elf ^_^

Ashlay (my Bee-a) is my first doll and I can't help making her as my favourite. And also I take more of her photos maybe because I'm more used to handling MSD sized doll. For my SD crew, Rhys (my SD13 School A) is my golden boy... he's just so nice to hug... ideal weight in my arms 8D thus, I play with him more.

I do try to give the rest of my dolls equal attention and care.. I can't help but feeling guilty when my friends mentioned that I won't bring so-and-so along when travelling because usually I bring the above two only.

 

Aw, yes. I do this-- shamelessly. I love them all to bits.

A certain MSD sized, freckled, blonde boy owns me, though.

 

I think... I'm slightly more attached to my first doll, though I now realize I spend all right amounts of time with both. HAHA what a useless post I made

 

I do as well, and sometimes I do feel guilty over it. My Derek (Domuya standard) gets a lot more attention than my Yayoi (Obitsu Gretel) But I try to find ways to even things out. When I got Derek a shirt that says 'favourite child' on it, I tried to make it up to Yayoi by buying her a lot more clothes than Derek has. My own little way of keeping things balanced.
