Oh I thought they might have some at least from the 2008 collection. What a great idea to check ebay. Also, I've had really good luck purchasing ornaments from "The Ornament Shop". http://www.ornament-shop.com/index.html If you click on "gallery of ornaments" then select each year you'll see a huge display of available pieces. The "Very Hungry Caterpillar" book is available under the 2008 category. Novel keychains can also contain perfect playscale toys for PpoPpo. Basic Fun has created a wide variety that are just the right scale. Here is a toy Glowworm - a replica of a toy that children use to love 20 years ago: http://cgi.ebay.com/GLOWORM-Glow-WO...60517256QQihZ002QQcategoryZ2622QQcmdZViewItem It appears that this seller has quite a few keychain toys available - some we have all come to know and love as children ie. Enjoy checking them out.
Wow, this person on ebay also has Fischer Price Christmas ornaments that are the perfect playscale size: ie the Little People School Bus and Toboggan. I haven't been able to find some of these for a few years. http://stores.ebay.com/Kats-Home-an...ibles_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ19QQftidZ2QQtZkm This collecting of playscale dolls and toys can be a most dollar deadly addiction!
If you check out the Hallmark ornaments note that the Jack in the Boxes are a good scale and play music while popping open. But perhaps my favorite playscale ornament is the Hallmark "See n Say" toy which was issued in 2007. It really works when set on each animal. http://www.ornament-shop.com/product.php?itemid=1071030 Sorry about my long-windedness on the subject.
Memorial day was lots of fun. We spent the entire afternoon at an amusement park and CC especially loved the Merry-go-round.
Hi Reine, I have lots of photos of this dear little girl - will be posting more. Picked up a puki cochon to be CC's little friend. Couldn't help it - your avitar is so very adorable. CC needed a wee little playmate. I wish more collectors of tinys knew about PpoPpo. She is one in a million - I can't get enough playtime with her. Thanks for the complement on her wardrobe and hair. The clothes were made by Tatiana (jou_jou design on ebay) and the wig is Jpop's kanawave in wintermoon.
Hello Gardenofdolls. I hope you are having fun locating toys for your sweet girls. I recently found the cutest gumby and pokey in playscale size at Barnes and Noble. A tiny boxed set with the tiny books near the front checkout. Gotta post more photos of some of the toys for you. Reine, here's a link to my Ppo Ppo and Cochon intro. Hope you like it. http://www.denofangels.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4776281#post4776281
Hi Tropicofcapricorn, I wish I can have the luxury of playing with tiny toys and dolls...right now, I can only enjoy from all of your pictures and the links you've sent me. They sure are an eye candy! I will check out some minis though at Barnes & Nobles. It's such a delight to see your PpoPpo in your whimsical garden. All seems to be a perfect size for her. Thank you for sharing! By the way, I think she looks especially pretty in her white wig.
Thanks for posting this...I too am a fan of CC's garden...right now Nuri is lounging on my bookshelf...she's going back to Amira Rose for repairs on her legs, neck, and torso. I'm going to miss her a TON! Nuri's not interested in my Pukis really...she's more into Guitar Hero and her punk wardrobe
Thanks for your wonderful comments about the not so secret garden. I finally put my trunk to use creating it. I got the trunk from AC Moore years ago and thought it might make a nice little apartment house for tiny dolls - maybe someday. Reine, Nuri sounds like a character - hope she has a speady recovery from the surgery. Garden, I really like the white wig on her also. It's a monique Trix wig in color Snow White purchased from Audreys http://www.audreysdolls.com/item.cf...ts&categoryID=1&fieldnames=Monique&subcatID=5 Well, CC introduced Daisy to their playroom yesterday afternoon. I think Daisy was fairly overwhelmed. The gumby and pokey as well as the pink panther were purchased recently from Barnes and Nobel. Luv this playscale - it's the best.
Ha Ha, me too Stella, it was the 60's when I had my Gumby and Pokey. I think we saw the cartoons first run (oh wow, I am getting old)
Nuri's just lounging about...this has been her pose for the last two weeks just because i love it so much
