1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

PpoPpo discussion

    1. Thats adorable!!

    2. Here she is wearing Barbie's dress and cropped jacket. I rolled the sleeves, because Barbie has longer arms. Otherwise, both fits well on her. The jacket is suppose to be opened and out like that.

    3. I have that same dress for my Bambicrony although it's a much tighter fit on her, shows just how slender litlle PpoPpo is :)

    4. When browsing the comparison pics, I found this one on pg 3 of Pullip with Blythe, and they are quite different

    5. I'm getting ready to make one of my girls, actually opened up a new one, to give her more Asian eyes. I just love her so. I named her after my baby girl, Hanah. She looks so much better in person...I'm always dissatisfied with my pictures. Like this one, in real life, her face is a tad bit wider and shorter, but oh well. I made her this lacey dress, actually just cut in straight line and put them together, and it was easier than I thought, because the edge has all of the trimmings finished for me. I made her her purse as well from a piece of scrap suede type material and added a string of beads. This was more fun than shopping for her...lol.

    6. She looks fantastic! I love her little dress. Did you make the bag too?

    7. Hi,
THank you. Yes, I had strings of suede and made a long braid to make the straps, and sewed on the rest. I ended up buying a Kimono from a BLythe collector member. A Chinese QiPao would have been great, but I got a great deal on the Kimono, and hoping to get another right now.

    8. I bought some Barbie stuff yesterday from Toys R Us - I'll post pics in the gallery when we have a modelling session. The first item I've tried on Giselle fits her well, it's a dress. The skirt and trousers look like they might need a slight alteration on the waist, but I'll know when I try them on.

As an aside, I was shocked at how tiny Barbie clothes are - I have a Sindy and a Tressy doll from my childhood and none of the clothes fit them, far too small and Tressy is very slim imo... although this is good news for PpoPpo of course :)

Another question - I'm not sure where to look for shoes for her? Any links and suggestions welcome :)

    9. Hi Kayjay,
I will post as soon as I have more info on shoes. I'm looking on Kemperdolls to see if there are any her size. I need to order a few and let you know for sure.

    10. ooo so just regular Barbie clothes will fit?? awesome to know as Im sure this will be my next doll purchase :D

    11. Hi Zenna,
Some will fit, and some will not. You'll really hav to watch out for the length, and I noticed a lot of the wovens ones on waist is too big for PpoPpo, or...maybe because they're suppose to be off the hip line for Babie? You really have to watch for the length too, since PpoPpo's are only 9" in height. Barbie's are 11-12">

    12. Mine has got that same outfit Ashley :)

Zenna - I've found that PpoPpo's hands won't fit down the long sleeved stuff, so alternations (with a pair of scissors!!) were needed. The dresses with no sleeves such as Ashley shows are fine. I'll have a modelling session with mine and post some more pics.

    13. She looks gorgeous Ashley.

My little Kizzy arrived last week and I am absolutely thrilled with her. She is one of my favourites, I cant stop playing with her. Her mouth is definately NOT a kiss .. she is a little pouty petulant princess. I love her legs, just adorable. She stands like a dream and when I pick her up she kind of does a funny little sag and flops in my hand. So much character. She makes me smile

Thank you for my girl. I hope you do a different head in the future, she would love a sister .

    14. Kizzy is gorgeous, and I love her shoes, what size doll are they designed for??

    15. Kizzy is so cute in her cute wig, donut shirt, and those pink shoes! oh, and matching socks:DI think I saw them on ebay for Blythe dolls. Do they run big for Blythe? I love her style, and it's so great to hear you're having a lot of fun with this doll. THANKS FOR POSTING PICTURES!

    16. Dont know where my reply went .. blame it on the server change. They are Blythe boots, not the micro blythe, the regular. Yes they must be huge on Blythe they are really too big for Kizzy. Releaserain on ebay sells them for $2.99 pair. I just bought four more pairs for her. She needed them !

    17. That's great imajica, thank you so much for your info. :D I have more great news on PpoPpo shoes! One of our Yahoo group members Valerie, has informed us that all of these shoes made for 37mm Bluette dolls will fit PpoPpo perfectly, and the styles are so cute. I really like the penny loafers...I can't wait to get those in and try on my school girl PpoPpo! Here is the link to the SHOEs STORE:

    18. Thanks Ashley, I am scared to look coz I know I will want to buy her more things

    19. I wish I had known about that website with shoes for Bluette dolls perfectly fitting PpoPpo's feet, because I've bought some Yo sd sized shoes for her that are kind of big for her. Oh well, I guess I could sell those and replace them with the other ones. I had taken pictures of PpoPpo wearing the YOsd shoes...these Yosd ones are big, so they'll fall off without socks. Rest of pictures are on gallery:
