Preferring one gender of doll over another

Dec 9, 2012

    1. I do prefer female dolls. I have three right now, and I only have more females planned. I just haven't found a male doll that I have to have.

    2. i mostly like girls and also having been wanted to have girls only for a long time. however, thesedays, i try to fine a boy doll that i might want to buy because i wanted to make a couple with my girls!!

    3. Funny enough I prefer girl dolls while my best fried prefers boys, but irl I drool over boys like 80% of the time while she's like veeery hard to impress with irl guys.

    4. I have 2 girls and 1 boy but I got my boy first, then began looking at girls. I also have 2 dolls and 1 floating head incoming who are all dudes. This must say something about me lol.

    5. Whenever I plan on getting a doll, I always plan in pairs; one boy and one girl. So I don't think I prefer one gender over the other. I like the idea of having brothers and sisters, so whenever I can I will plan a twin boy and girl, or a big brother & little sister. However I must admit that it tends to be easier for me to find a female doll beautiful than a male doll. So if I had to choose, I'd go with girl dolls!

    6. i've had boys and girls but my girls never seem to stay long orz at the moment all the dolls are boys and all my planned dolls are boys. sometimes i wish i had a cute girl to dress up in cute girly things but yah haha never works out for me :T

    7. I currently have 4/4 females... I plan to get one male eventually, but it will probably end up being a 5:1 ratio with what I have planned. Poor guy, surrounded by all those women. :XD:

    8. My collection is mostly boys with a few girls in the mix. Maybe its because I am a guy that I lean towards boy dolls. I always have since I was a child. I even have one that I've changed to look like me as a kid. I guess it's just like everything else, personal preference.

    9. I have both, split pretty evenly. That was not always the case, I used to say I only wanted boys, but once I got my first girl she was so much fun to dress and style that attitude went right out the window.

    10. I have an equal number of boy and girl dolls, with an exception: most of my girl dolls are marketed as boy dolls. I like having girl characters, but I don't like the unrealistic aspects of female sculpts that are often present in marketed-female dolls. My big issue is eye cavity size--I hate when its too big to be realistic, or if the mouth is too small. I'm also not a fan of too-visible ribs, huge boobs, and unrealistically-small waists. It makes me a rather picky doll owner, but, as a result, I have a pretty diverse group of bjds.

    11. I've only had boy dolls lol granted I've turned a girl sculpt into a boy...currently I only have boy dolls

      sent through the forests

    12. I prefer female dolls more, not really had many male dolls catch my eye.

    13. I like female dolls , mainly because I love sewing for them. At the moment I own girl dolls only, but the next doll in my wishlist is a male.

    14. for now, I prefer girls; I not yet falls in love any boy

    15. I prefer the girls to boy dolls. I think I just like the clothing and the wigs better . I think there is a better variety from clothing makers for the girls. Maybe one day I'll own a boy but nothing really is making me want to buy one now :)

    16. Only boys!! :love

    17. its hard for me to find a BJD that will look animated enough. i dont like realistic dolls.
i would like to have many guys with cloud/genesis(FF7) face type and make a big collection of hotties

    18. I think I don't like the boy dolls because of the *ahem private parts and I know I would make him look like a girl anyway.

    19. I'd like to have both genders in my collection, but since skirts are easier to sew and knit, I must admit to a slight female preference. Yes, I know you can put a boy in a dress, but somehow it's not the same.

    20. I prefer boys a lot. I've one boy at home and on my whole wishlist there are only other boys...
But the reason for that is simply that I don't find female sculpts I really like for my characters =/
