Preferring one gender of doll over another

I like boy dolls better, I don't know if it is just because I can find some pretty boy sculpts, but I prefer boy sculpts over girl.

 

I don't mean to be one sided (I have two girls and am saving for another girl) but all the boys I find are too 'young' looking! I like my dolls to look at least as if they were in their older teens, and all the boys I find seem far younger than that.

 

I have only girls. I mostly have Dollfie Dreams, so there's that, but the resins I have are gitls too. I am not against getting a boy doll, but it's a lot harder to find a sculpt I like. Most boy sculpts either look too female, or they look too haughty or downright mean (I gues to fight the femininity?). Now if they made male Dollfie Dreams...

 

I've only ordered one doll so far, so who knows what the future will hold? But right now, I seem to prefer boys. I have difficulty looking at female dolls because it seems they look similar. That's one of the reasons I like how unique Doll Chateau is. It's just a personal issue I have with differentiating features between most female sculpts, I guess. It makes no sense...but yep!

 

Well, although I am a girl but it's odd that I do prefer the girls....
my first and second doll are all girls =)

 

Well I do wish to have 1 of each. Maybe both in different sizes ^w^ It'll be nice.

 

I currently have four girls and two boys. I'd like to have more boys so that there's a more equal proportion of girls and boys in my little family but every time I look at dolls online I'm always more attracted to the girls than the boys... It's difficult for me to find a boy I really like but it's pretty easy for me to find a girl I really like. It's becoming a bit of a problem, lol.

 

I have 3 boys with 2 more on the way.

I guess I am partial to boy sculpts.. I find myself more drawn to them. I'm not against owning a female doll if the right one came along. (A lot are just too busty for me.)

I prefer the androgynous aspect of feminine male dolls, though.

 

How do you guys feel about it? Personally, I'm not too fond of the girl sculpts... I dunno why. They're just not my cup of tea, I guess. But when I see a pretty boy sculpt (like Soom's Lazule) my heart skips a beat.

Most of my crew is male. I have a few girls but the majority is males. I perfer the males over the females.

 

I don't know why, but I'm rarely attracted by boy dolls, except by the tinies (that have a cute face and an asexual body). So I guess I have a problem with "mature" boy dolls... ê_è

 

I find I like girl dolls most, there is the odd male I think is ok but I find the female dolls look a lot better to me

 

I have nothing but girl dolls and dont believe I'll ever have a male doll. Just most of the males I see look too feminine. I click on them thinking "what a cute girl" and it turns out to be a boy. FAIL. Only way I could ever have a male doll would be if he was 100% a character. My girls for the most part just are...but a guy would have to be someone from a movie/book/comic for it to work.

 

I'm one of those with only girls! A lot of it has to do with body sculpt. I've not found a nice boy body that I like yet.

 

I like more female dolls because its easier for me to make them look feminine plus its easier to get them the clothes i need for their character xD and not as expensive! i do have some boys but they sit there nude because i dont know how to make them look msculine :/ i have to agree with blueboy i can never tell if the boy dolls are male or females xD

 

I only have girl dollies; and I typically tend to only really like the girl dolls when I am searching for a new one.
Simply, my tendencies with it is that all of my OC's that I draw are female, so I want to create a physical form of them!

I'd love to have a boy dollie; but I don't have a character of mine to fill him in.
That, and I think I'd get intimidated by their muscular bodies.

 

I prefer girls. I have three MSD girls, one SD woman, and an MSD and SD boy. But the boys hardly count, since they're the same character. XD;

 

all girls here, unless one is a special character i like i would never own a male doll, and exactly what blueboy57 said, to feminine for my liking

 

I mostly have girls ATM but my first resin's gonna be a boy...I love the boy sculpts a lot but only a few have called to me. XD

 

I used to be really interested in boy dolls but no I'm not really bothered. I don't have any boys, the only one on my wishlist is doll chateau Hubery
