I was so happy too since Kumako was one of my grails since I found out about them! You can tell which Touhou character I was thinking of when I say the idea for him was a "little vampire prince," lol!
Anyone have any idea on what to scale patterns to (up from 1/6 scale and down from 1/3 scale) to fit Puyoo Kumako/Chubby dolls? Even a rough idea just to help me get started! I have some cute patterns for other scales I'd like to see if I can modify to fit! I know the measurements are kinda wonky from other 1/4 dolls.

Yeah, Kumako fits most MDD/Volks MSD sized clothes in my experience, just bottoms and stockings are iffy because of the big hips and chubby legs, but dresses should be no problem, especially loose ones like that one^^. I received my second Kumako head today, a custom Ruru, and I'm so in love. I noticed that the shop on puyoo's japanese website updated with stock with baby and 1/4 eggs. This is probably a dumb question, but can we order from there? Has anyone had a good experience ordering this way? I'm always in the in-between season when looking, this is the first time I've seen stock on the website before! *edit* OoP there's a footnote saying you can't order the baby's internationally, but not one for the 1/4 eggs!
Hello! Has anyone had any experience ordering directly from the puyoodoll site to the US? Is there any issues? edit: Okay, I’m kinda laughing right now. In trying to figure out a shipping estimate from puyoodoll.com I accidentally submitted an order (and I really do mean on accident - I usually use the payment and summary page to figure out arrival times). So… 3 years after starting this thread... I will be getting a puyoodoll egg 01! Sometime. I will update this thread with my experience.
Yeah that would be my guess, but there wasn’t a super clear indicator of that on the website. Either way, the tracking estimates she’ll be here Wednesday which is insane to me. I was planning to stock up on supplies for this girl during the 2-6 month wait… Good problems!
