I'd definitely be happy if they at least offered milk tea/chocolate for the boys. Though now I'm not holding my breath on tan...

I was also surprised that they were only offering the non-jointed body for Ruru/Lala but maybe they will offer the jointed for the Eggs!? Even though the first release came with pretty much the bare (bear? ) minimum, I'm still looking forward to what they're gonna give us in Round 2.

I'd been trying to see if they had any rhyme or rhythm to milk tea/chocolate releases and I can't find any pattern. I'd love to wait on a tan release, but at the same time, I almost feel like I have to order the dolls I want now...so much uncertainty!

Same. Not holding my breath since as you said, they seem to do tan releases super randomly, but just don't want to give up the tiny hope just yet.
The body releases seem pretty consistent but I wish they would give the option to choose jointed or unjointed (personally I love the unjointed body but can see people who prefer more mobility being disappointed by it being the only option)
I feel the pressure to order now too since we don't know when the next preorder will come or even if they'll offer tan next time but still waffling...

 

Right!? I do hope Milk Tea makes a comeback (I'd LOVE chocolate too, but I understand the darker colors are a challenge in resin)

I also think the unjointed body is fine...but am looking for jointed as an excuse to order maybe just to see how it's different. I thought once they started making jointed bodies, that would be the standard.

I'm the exact same way - I did place an order for Lala, because I *really* want her. But I've been going back and forth, like should I push and make a big preorder now if I decide to bring home a Kuku or Kaka? Or should I wait and see if they do tan in the future? but how long will it take? Maybe I should just buy now... just thinking in circles like that, and will probably continue to do so until the Part 2 news comes out. lol

But, I wanted to ask, does anyone know the Mimimidoll site? Since I think Pupacasa is a dealer? Thank you in advance for any info!

 

This seems to be Mimimidoll's Twitter and this is their Weibo. They list a website on their Twitter profile but it's currently completely empty.

As for their Weibo, they do link to a blog listing doll clothes they've made and they say to privately message them on Weibo for purchase. (All the preorder periods for their clothes are over though and they don't seen to have put up anything new for sale since 2021.)

I also found this post on a doll news Weibo announcing the collaboration but it just lists Mimimidoll's Weibo handle and doesn't have a link for where to buy the dolls.

Pupacasa seems to be the only place you can get the dolls?

 

The second half of the (Japan) Puyoo preorder is up as well: still Cream skin only, but they have a few bonus offerings that weren't available during the first half, such as Kumako stands, a Kumako sewing mannequin, elf ear parts, and standalone bear parts (the default hands + feet).

Worth mentioning: The tweet (linked above) states there is a site for ordering within Japan and a site for ordering overseas (I did my order through a proxy and didn't pay attention):

I found an Egg 02 with a boy body secondhand so I may not go in for Kuku/Kaka now, but I'm eyeing that mannequin and stands...

 

They've had that international site for a while now actually. I got my Kuku through it.

Not sure if they are really shipping internationally though as they did say a long while back that they were suspending shipping outside of Asia.

Anyway, ordering from their international site was easy and they shipped within their expected shipping date. However, they messed up my address and I almost didn't recieve my order!!

They omitted one entire line of my address which had my building and street name... My address was correct on my order confirmation and my shipping notice. I only got my package because it happened to be handled by a postman who knew me and my name is kind of unique around here. I contacted Puyoodoll about this on their international site's contact page but they never got back to me, not even to apologize.

 

I would imagine the international shipping is still functional - since they linked to it in both of their current preorders. Mine shows a shipping estimate to my state (in U.S.A.) as well without populating an error. I have not attempted checkout yet as I am at work (...despite looking at dolly stuff )

That is unfortunate about that delivery error though - I guess it could happen with both the company and a proxy though, that's a super tricky problem to try to avoid because it just depends on the person making your shipping label paying attention

 

G-Grey RESIN?!?!!

I'm so tempted to preorder a baby kumako but I really don't need to start collecting 1/6 sized stuff

 

I was super excited when I found Halloween grey resin Kumako at Pupacasa, but couldn’t find any official information anywhere else. Then I noticed the artist who paints Kumako faceup uploaded the Halloween pictures a year ago and here it is: https://twitter.com/ttfaceup/status/1454627527473831937
Since Puyoodoll just got huge range of pre-orders, it doesn’t feel very realistic to me that they will anounce the grey skin within this month. It’s very sad because I can die for a grey skined Kumako Hope there is more information about that.

The Pupacasa posting lists a delivery of the gray skinned Kumakos as January 2023, but they list their cream preorder as delivering in April 2023? I do really want a gray Kumako, and the order period closes October 29th, but it seems odd that no other outlets/dealers/etc are posting the gray Kumakos? Especially since as @Mokoi9 mentioned, the photos are definitely from a BrotherTiti post from last year. Pupacasa doesn't have a bad reputation, as far as I know?

 

It really does seem strange that even PUYOODOLL themselves haven't mentioned anything about the gray Kumakos...

 

I've been wondering about Pupacasa as well, but it looks like PUYODOLL is doing the preorder for the cream skin from 10/22-10/30 expecting to ship in March. It's still odd that the gray skin hasn't been mentioned anywhere though...

 

Pupacasa is a very reputable dealer that often sells things that are very hard to find even in-market (like their order periods for Kaleidoll outfits & shoes). I wish there was more information on the gray skin, but I hope those who are interested can get cute spooky Kumakos!

 

If anyone orders the grey, you've simply got to show us

I was going to follow my impulse but Pupacasa, who seems to do layaway normally, isn't offering layaway for the grey resin I know Puyoo ranges on the expensive side anyway, but the grey prices seem really high!

If you buy into the Cream via proxy or on the Puyoo international site, USD is favorable against yen right now, so everything is quite a bit cheaper than what Pupacasa is offering...

but of course, that doesn't work for the grey...
