PuyooDoll (Puyoo Art & Creative)

Sorry for double-posting, BUT I've been on the lookout for places to obtain Puyoos (trying to build an army, here), checked Mercari Japan, and found a Plain skin Lala there - she arrived yesterday!

I've been extremely curious about Puyoo's resin colors as I mentioned before - I think Milk Tea especially is such a pretty color, but all of my purchases/orders have been in Cream. Before now! This is the direct comparison between Cream (left) and Plain:

I think at this point I just need at least one in every color...

For anyone still wondering, yes their international site does work. I was able to get a Baby Kumako and Pocket Kumako through it (though the shipping was expensive), in 2 different orders. I received Baby Kumako about 2 months ago. It came extremely fast, within days once it was shipped out.

 

Drive-by update to announce that my grey-skin halloween Lala has finally arrived!!!
Did anyone else snag one? I haven’t seen them anywhere, not even insta!

I will say, as lovely as she is… she is 100% blueish, not really grey at all! Very different from the photos on the sale page.

I’m not 100% sure what her plan is or if she’s stay, buy my goodness, I’m alway blown away by how sturdy these beauties are!

I have only seen the makeup artist’s (BrotherTiti) pictures.

Here is one recent one from Shanghai DP
Lala in grey skin as a girl? She is in a pink car.
There was also a grey skin Egg02 on his Insta, to better compare skintones.

I myself found two different shades of cream skin for two different releases and prefer the less pinkish one. so I am sorry the grey skin you were expecting was more blue instead.

I'll have to snap a few photos once we get a sunny day here! My partner has a Milktea Lala, so I can compare the two!
I'll compare her to the cute stickers she came with as well, the art on them is a lovely grey, and she's so different, haha. Super cute still! Just makes it harder for little ol' me to decide on a wig for her now :P

 

Milktea and Chocolate Ruru & Lala click war is starting tomorrow!

I'd love a Chocolate Ruru but not sure what body they're being offered on nor if bear parts options will be available (or that I'll be able to score one regardless)

EDIT: I think I was able to score one (at least it let me check out without issue)!
Ruru and Lala were on the solid body and Egg01 was on the jointed, no bear part options for either though.

a really nice proxy on discord managed to get some extra dolls and offered me a chocolate skin lala on layaway so yay! im so glad i was able to get one tho finding option hands will be harder QAQ

I was able to get a chocolate skin Ruru through the same proxy as @Urushi-kitty !
Now I need to hunt down an outfit, wig, and eyes for the little one >:3

As others have mentioned, there's always second-hand and proxy services!

 

I'm sure it's been metionned somewhere but which eye size fits best for Egg02? She seems to have much smaller eyes than the 22mm recommended size for Puyoo dolls.

 

I think I've mostly seen 20mm recommended, but someone who has an Egg02 would be able to tell better! Kumako Rose, which is an Egg02 head sculpt, uses 20mm eyes, but I think you could maybe get away with a size smaller too ^^
Hopefully that helps a little!

 

oh i just recently discovered that Puyoo kumako (with the normal legs) will fit Roze Heln stuff, especially the tops. for bottoms the puyoo is .5cm smaller so it shouldnt be too much of an issue.

 

I use 20mm in Egg02 (Rose), but I like big eyes. I've never tried smaller than 20mm but I'd personally not go smaller than 20mm.
