Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Rabbit Hutch! Have a carrot and tell me about your bunny anthros~

Jul 16, 2010

    1. That is what hubby's Jax's were attached with as well, but the hooks were not really S hooks, and they let loose in shipping I guess. The hook sort of tore at the resin pretty badly too. I bent the hook down to make it more of an S hook but couldn't work it back into the old elastic set up so now it is on with chenille wires. So now I don't know what do with it.

    2. Thank you :D I've been huntin' wesin wabbits for a long time now so I sort've kept a list to see if I'd missed any hehe

      I don't know tbh, that's a good question! Probably not since they're not actual rabbits? Not sure!

    3. I've so been enjoying pictures of everyone's rabbits!

      Here's a picture of my Carrot Crew.

    4. Delicious teeeeeeeeth...Is that a Cube? I so love the uberlong ears!

    5. Rabbit Moon: I didn't realize that the sizes varied so much with all the different rabbits! OMG! I love your collection. Someday I want to get a rabbit...and now I'll have to think about the size I want as well as the sculpt.

    6. What a wonderful pic of all your bunnies, Rabbit-moon! You have such a fabulous collection and I love that you call them your "Carrot Crew"! Very cute! :fangirl:

    7. Rabbit-Moon I am envious, what make is the white one in the waistcoat? I love his feets

    8. Sorry, my Jax's ears were also tightly strung. I had to cut the elastic to blush his ears and then I got some round elastic cord at Hobby Lobby in the sewing section to tie them back on. It worked for me, but I didn't have bent s hooks. Well one side is a little bigger than the other, but it hasn't caused any problems with the resin. Really sorry to hear about the problems you're having with it. My boy's ears pose wonderfully, and did even when they were tight.

      I really need to take some more pictures. :sweat I've been so busy lately and the weather has been atrocious, but he has 2 shirts and a pair of overalls now (as far as his normal clothes go) and looks soooo adorable. He should have more pics.

    9. Thank you, Lulu! Yes that is a Cube in the middle. Don't you love the Bugs Bunny teeth and long ears?

      Thank you Luluna! With a DOA moniker like mine, it was fated that I should have bunnies. But my first love is my Curo that I got in 2008. He has the original chubby one-piece body and fixed tail. When I first started visiting the forum, there were no rabbit bjds, only cats; so I was thrilled when Pipos finally made a rabbit! I would still love to get a DZ Kane, and Coco's Tribe bunny someday. You definitely need to get a bunny! Bunnies are the best!

      Thank you Cattwo! I love all my Carrot Crew! It's funny, when I owned real rabbits, and Im not kidding, they really do love carrots! My first rabbit would sit up and beg like a little dog for carrots. (That rabbit had me eating out of his paw) Rabbits are made of cute.

      Thank you, Harpy! Im so glad you like my Carrot Crew! The bunny in the waistcoat is a special limited edition bunny that was made by Elfdoll's Rainman. Originally, Rainman made the rabbit for his own amusement, and did a blog comic/photostory of this rabbit on his site. Well, the rabbit proved so popular he made a limited run of them to sell. He's OT because he is not jointed, but he's okay to show as a decoration with other bjd rabbits.
      And, I agree, his feet are wonderful! I wish someone would make a bjd rabbit with feet like that.

    10. LOVE your Carrot Crew! Thank you for sharing with us. Of course bunnies are simply the best. *wink* I'm also v. pleased that diff companies seemed to have interpreted their bunnies differently so they do appeal to a wide range of collectors...

      May I inquire about the chess-piece that's in the picture as decoration? I'd been looking for that for a while with no success. Seem to recall it in the background somewhere....

    11. Thank you Mme. duBunny! Im so glad you like the my little bunny crew. I agree bunnies are the best!

      About the rabbit chess piece, it was free event gift from Pipos when they issued the original limited edition Cheshire Cats, back in 2009. You could randomly receive a cat or a rabbit chess piece. I was so lucky, when I received my Cheshire cat, the much-wanted rabbit chess piece was included!

    12. Also had some fun with angles in an Alice in Wonderland type shoot here

    13. I found Mini baby born clothes fit Doll Leaves Jax, was able to get a t-shirt and dungarees on Usa-Chan, and still put the tail on afterwards, that is one strong magnet...unfortunately my camera needs batteries, but will take pics soon as I'm able.

    14. Thanks for the tip. Always nice to know what'll fit in case I see something that's too cute to pass up.

      And I know what you mean about the magnets. His shirts I ordered have velcro in the back (which I generally don't like, but am sort of grateful I won't have to wrestle with his tiny S hook constantly) so his tail is currently holding on through denim, 2 layers of the shirt material and 2 layers of velcro (albeit very thin velcro). It's not on super super well, but good enough where I don't have to worry about it falling off over nothing and losing it.

    15. I made Usa-Chan stand on one leg x3 I need to get her face up done..

      [IMG]

    16. haha awesome. :XD: I imagine that took a lot of fiddling and rebalancing like when I got bored and decided I was gonna get my AOD on one foot if it took an hour (and it almost did).

      I forgot how cute Jax is, even with no face-up. I'm so used to looking at Alice now and I forget what he used to look like before all the blushing.

      Also, that dress is adorable and looks really good on her.

    17. Harpy, your Jax is so cute!

      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Does anybody have a DZ Kane bunny? I would love to see a picture!
      Also, wondering if the body has changed from the DZ Event Rabbit, to the current Kane bunny?
    18. Ookami-Chan - Thank you, I feel bad about not getting her face up done, but she seems cute enough without it. The dress was pinched from my Mini Baby Born doll. I shall make her more though...eventually.
      Rabbit-Moon - Thank you ^.^
    19. I have a Kane:
      [IMG]
      The event bunny was a one part torso, basically a solid body, the Kane version is two part with a joint at the waist...which I will say does not help posing in the slightest. It still poses like a paving slab! :) Hope that helps!
