Skyealloway, I have 3 Raccoon men and they are all fabulous at holding poses. Eugene is on my wish list, I think he's gorgeous. I agree, in normal skin he does look young and so will go with my RD Momo and other younger sculpts I should think.
Meet my new girl Viveca. I really struggled with this doll, and I painted her three times before I found her character. It was really frustrating and I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to bond with her, but with her third look she just clicked. I absolutely love her now. Her story and more pictures
Thank you! I am glad too - I would have hated to give up on her. She has such a great face, and so much more detail than in the promo pictures.
Omg, I love how delicate she looks You did an amazing job! My elf Momo arrived last month but so much has happened recently in my life I didn't post her box opening/arrival. Also she came with default faceup which I don't remember requesting so... I will eventually have to repaint her to look closer to the character I have in mind. She still doesn't have clothes or wig, but I uploaded photos to my flickr if anyone wants to see. I'm still a little unsure about her, I confess that more realistic faces aren't my favorite type of bjd. But for this character, Momo looked like a good compromise of realistic and stylized. The character is supposed to be paper white but I knew I would have to rely on doing a more cold-colored faceup to get the look, cause it's hard enough finding the right sculpt, and even more the right colors and accessories. The eyes I ordered for her should arrive soon.

Anyone planning on getting Dami? She looks so distinct, I feel like she almost looks like someone I know. I love her unique face. The sculpts for both Vivicea and Dami are so different from most dolls they are very intriguing and feel realistic to me
Your Viveca is *lovely* @ResinRapture !!! Love her tops too - great fabric and even better pattern fitting!!! May I ask if you have a favorite pattern for your wigs? And any hints on taming the volume of these wigs? You do a marvelous job with these wonderful wigs!
@Robyn_in_WA Thank you! I made the pattern, and they are lambskin. I never attempted to tame them, I like the volume. But I guess you could comb the curls out. @skyealloway She does look familiar, doesn't she? I can't put a finger on it, but she "is" somebody I have seen before.
Few months ago i bought her on ebay i think so, her face up was so ugly so i sent her straight away to face up artist, and she looks fabulous now Meet Raccoon doll Sia - Sem.

So after lurking in all of the Raccoon Doll threads for weeks I've finally ordered one of my own. Been working on retelling a character and finding the right sculpt and fell in love with the look of "Wild Fantasy" Nana. Looking forward to sharing pictures once she's here! Had to take advantage of that free shipping, lol!
Oh wow, they are so beautiful! And as others have mentioned, Viveca does look very familiar, she kinda reminds me of a combination of Emma Watson and Michelle Fairly. Definitly need to have a look at their dolls!
