I ended up purchasing Celine in sweet mocha! Couldn’t pass up that discount. I picked the new Natural Pose body, the proportions are much closer to my other slim MSD’s and I’m thrilled they made the feet a bit larger! Will definitely make finding shoes easier.
I do hope they release the new glam body soon, it’s so nice to have options, but they’re all slim bodies right now! Mind you, the new one does look very nice! Can’t wait to see everyone’s new dolls!
Congratulations to all new dolls, hope to see pics and review of the new body I asked Mr. Choi about the glamour body, and he said that the new body will not be released before the event is over Not sure what to do now, I need the glamour body for my Laetitia, but it's such a good price right now!
Do you think there won't be an event when the new glamour body is released? I'm also one of those waiting for a very long time for a new glamour body... There's always an event with a new release, or not?
Hard to say really. I mean if they’ve just had an event they may not want to have another straight after. That’s if the glamour body is still releasing in March - maybe if it’s later they will? Have they confirmed that yet?
The only "confirmation" I have is that he was commenting on a comment on the teaser post for the new body on Instagram. "Glamour Body will be released in March and Slim Body in February." is the exact comment. He released the slimmer body now in Februari, so I have no reason to believe that he wouldn't release the glamour in March, sadly.
Yeah, you're both right... And I remeber that mr. Choi had already written he'd release the new glamour body few years ago and he didn't. So I'm very very curious. I think that it would be a pitty not to come back to the glamorous body, it was really extraordinary and I love it.
The newest replying i got via their QA section 2 days ago it’s Glamour body in April, new SD girl with body in June, no plan for male dolls unfortunately. had a big crush on Celine, she is so beautiful. I’m waiting for Mr choi to update on their website about the comparison photo between new slim and new natural pose body.
It does seem the new Glamour body keeps being pushed back! Well, hopefully it really will be April. I look forward to seeing it!
I really like their face sculpts, but I think I will wait for the glamour body because I don't like the look of the bodies they have now, the newest one looks good at first glance, but then I see the pointy knees
Does anyone know if the current Iplehouse light brown is a good match for the mocha skintone? When I googled, I stumbled over a picture from a russian forum that had a light brown and mocha resin comparison, and the skintones looked very similar. Has anyone been able to compare them? It would open up a lot of options
I do have similar combo. I was pleasantly surprised . But it's not the lt. brown you want, but the dark brown in dark mocha. I have a FID head on a raccoon body in those colors. When I'm on my computer will add a pic of her. Onyx : Bianca FID head (lt brown but now Dark Brown) on a Dark Mocha raccoon body. It's a great match in my opinion. Very pleased with her. Not sure if lt brown will match mocha. Hmm. Good question. Will have to see. Edited to add: I can't ever remember if I can add one or two pic here. I did find some pics. I thought my Nana head was dark Mocha but she's not. SHe is actually Mocha. Here she is on a 2019 lt brown body. (Iple kept changing their formula for lt brown and the darker version they renamed now Dark Brown) One thing I do recall now, is Nana's head was a bit smaller than Iples. Nana head was 2020. SHe is a wee lighter than the body and the head a little too small for that body, in my opinion. I personally think Iple heads work better on the RD because their head are a little bit bigger. But I have seen a NS Monica on a FID body and it seemed to work fine. So perhaps it's just that Nana head is smaller than some of the others.
I agree with the point above. I have a Raccoondoll Laetitia head on a FID curvy body and it works just fine - and the NS is a great match too, I don't have the skintones you need to compare though, sorry - but yes, some of the smaller Raccoondoll heads wouldn't work nearly as well. The sort of rounder heads work - like Emma or Laetitia - but the smaller ones or those with pointier chins/narrow faces not so much. Like, I have a Elf Iris and her head is much smaller, she wouldn't work nearly as well on an FID body I think. But yeah, the Iple female heads are definitely bigger - that's how I ended up with a hybrid in fact, I didn't like that her head looked so much bigger than the rest of my girls, but I really liked the FID curvy body, so I sold the Iple head and bought a Raccoondoll one for her instead!
Thank you so much for the comparisons! Have to say that I love Nana on that body though, looks very proportionate Humm, do I like smaller heads? The match between light brown and mocha was better than I hoped for actually, so now I have to consider mocha too for my Laetitia. Both mocha and dark mocha are lovely colors, so I'm having a little trouble deciding. I was more considering option parts than a whole body, cause Iple has both hands with the long nails and fist hands. Also, killer heels! So it wouldn't be as noticeable as with a whole head/body difference. Although, I have a fid Stella in former light brown(now dark brown I guess, if they haven't changed the formula again) athletic body that I wondered if it would fit for Laetitia. She is gonna be a 90s Charlies angels type of badass that is also a member of En Vogue I got my work cut out for me
I have a Laetitia head in mocha and I put it on IH FID body in light brown and it's a great match. I don't have pictures of the combo in my phone right now, only on my Insta but I think I'm not supposed to post links here...
The new girls are lovely, but I have an "only elves and fantasy dolls" rule for my dolls this size. I might get another elf woman on the new Natural Pose body in the future, but for now I just ordered more clothes and a pair of shoes for the one I have.
I bought light brown IH hands for my Dark Mocha Laetitia and the match is close to perfect! I will try to get a picture if I can find the hands! Also, I got a Smiling Gene in NS and tried this hybrid in a Souldoll NS New Kids body and the colour match is incredible. It looks really pretty too~ My idea is to have her on a JID body but the one I already have is so yellowed the colour match isn't good at all.
@Seed-Singer Iplehouse dark brown is a better match than lt brown to the RD dark mocha. You can't tell it's from a different brand. I had post a picture of the Iplehouse RD Hybrid further up the page if you want to take a look.
