Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Sooo, now I know what you mean by that smell. My lovely Ken is home, and that chemical smell is terrible. It smells like some kind of thinner or petroleum spirit. But it should quickly go away. I hope.

    2. Oh no! Not just me then! I've kept my Dina out since she arrived, the smell has gone a bit but it's still there. I'm hoping it will go in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully your Ken won't smell too bad if you leave him out, it's a terrible smell isn't it?

    5. I didn't notice any weird smells with my Ivy/Aerith, just typically new resin scent. Hopefully it clears up before too long.

      I got new eyes (from Making Art Dolls) and a temporary wig (from Dollmore) for Aerith. Unfortunately, Dollmore's 5" wigs are 4-5", rather than 5-6" (despite being listed as a separate category from the 4-5" ones), so while I can get it to stay on, it takes a lot of fussing. I did get wefts to make a custom wig, since I know I'll need to do that for her braid, but I also went ahead and ordered an actual 5-6" wig, which I can hopefully style a bit to look more like her hair does when loose.

    6. Does Raccoon Doll restock their clothes, or once they're gone, they're gone? I liked Henry's dashing shirt & cape plus some of the vests but they're sold out. I don't mind waiting for something new though.

    9. Well darn, I'll make my own then. :) I have some of the Iplehouse FID patterns from Designs by Jude. I've downloaded MB Lilac's beautiful patterns too. When my dolls arrive I'll take some scrap fabric to make mockups and see what I need to adjust to fit the Raccoon Doll body.
