1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    3. I recently received my lovely 62cm RaccoonDoll Lara.
Her listing photos were so pretty that I ordered my gal in the
sweet mocha resin with one of the pictured wigs. I’m very
pleased with how she was painted too, love the long nailed
hands and her lithe body. I hope to have her hands manicured
in the future. Just finished making a medieval gown for her in
      slinky dance fabric.

RaccoonDoll SD Lara - limited paint - 62cm tall - Dollbakery 12mm eyes

    4. resurrecting this thread to show a couple of gowns that I’ve made for
my RaccoonDoll 62cm gals. During 2025 I was able to get a second
beautiful gal - my Jyoti - also in sweet mocha resin. Both of them
now have Amadiz angora wigs and have their lovely, expressive
      hands manicured too.

Their gowns are silk - Jyoti’s is ivory dupioni - Lara’s turquoise gown
is a lightweight habotai silk with French silk ribbon trim. I made their
necklaces with moss agate drops taken from people earrings (etsy)
with moss agate beads, tiny Swarovski crystals, and sterling chain.

    5. So beautiful Robyn! I love Jyoti - both girls look lovely!

    6. Thanks so much @nancy_schroeder_ca !!
Thanks lots @LyanneNZ !!! I adore Jyoti too - here are a couple of pix
of her in the first dress I’d made for her on her arrival.
I think these RaccoonDoll gals are rather under-valued - their faces and bodies
are beautifully sculpted - as are their long nailed hands!

    7. Your Anna is lovely @Mahgiep ! You did a brilliant job with her face paint too!!
And wow - you made her eyes - I’m so jealous of that skill. Congrats!!

    8. @Robyn_in_WA thank you so much! I’ve just started making eyes and stil struggle with bubbles! But hopefully I will get better!

    9. You are making me want a 1/3 scale Raccoon doll :) Her hands are indeed beautiful!

...and they are lovely eyes Mahgiep! So challenging to make eyes.

    10. I hope that you do get one of RaccoonDoll’s 62cm gals @LyanneNZ ! I think you’d
love their realism - beautiful body with great proportionality. No super skinny arms
or overly long legs here. And the bust is very realistic - no ugly basketballs. I do
wish they’d offer the solid thigh tho - as I just don’t care for the break and don’t need it.
Whoever their painters are - they do wonderful work too!! And I love their new ship
method - the dolls arrive well padded in a tube in a box - so much less ship cost!!

    11. @Robyn_in_WA Wow RD dolls are even more beautiful in your pictures! The sweet mocha resin is absolutely gorgeous and I love the dresses you made for them! How do they pose compared to Iplehouse?

    12. Thanks so much for your lovely compliment @sageyufi ! The sweet mocha resin color
is my favorite altho the ns is nice too.
I like the posing of the RaccoonDoll gals quite well - they’re very sturdy standing and
sit easily. Their arms allow hands up to face and stay ‘up’ well if that is desired.
However, I can’t speak to what some folks seem to want as my dolls don’t do
crazy gymnastics or funky positions. I’m one of those people who also likes the
Iplehouse doll - well - except for some of their wonky ankles on the older ones.

    13. I wanted to share a second ivory silk dupioni dress that I just finished for
Lara. I received so many lovely compliments on the sleeves on Jyoti’s
dress and on the fitted bodice of Lara’s turquoise dress that I thought I’d
try combining the two parts. Lara’s new dress is the result. I used a
second shade of the lovely French silk trim ribbon on this dress and
lengthened the sleeves a bit and added the trim to the wrist too.

sadly, I didn’t have enough of the silk trim to add it to the skirt hem tho…

    14. @Robyn_in_WA Gorgeous!!! The detailed trims and the tailoring is just chef's kiss! I'm crazy about the sleeves and bodice :love

    15. That's really beautiful - it looks so lovely on your model too.

    16. Thanks so much @sageyufi !! I’m so glad that I decided to combine the two patterns!
I wish that I had bought more of that elegant French silk trim, sadly getting low now.

Thanks lots @LyanneNZ ! Even tho silk can be a bit fiddly, the results seem worth
      the extra effort to me.
