Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Gah. They are so perfect. I came to the conclusion that I don't need anymore "normal" dolls, so I thought maybe I was safe. And then these come along. Elves, vampires, ghosts and now flowers.
      Rainman is incredible, what an amazing artist.

    5. AreeElf, I appreciate your keeping the conversation on track, but some of the posts you removed did include discussion about the Flower Elves. I will PM Melanie or email Ms. Cholong to find out the answer to my question about the elves, but I thought you should know that some of the discussion was about them.

      I am curious, though why the bunny would be off topic since other bunny anthros are on topic.

    6. Some people have reported that it does not have jointed limbs.

      In any case, I'm looking forward to the Flower Elves! They are absolutely enchanting. I'm trying to resist adding more dolls to my family, but I'm holding out hope that someone locally will buy one of these, because I'd love to play with one. :lol:

    8. Gracie I tried deleting only the posts specifically discussing sales of the possibly off-topic bunny. It doesn't look to have elbow and knee joints from the promo photos. The posts that I deleted mainly had squee about the elves which could be reposted. I prefer full deleting posts than edit deleting them.

    9. It looks to me like their resin is very pale green. Does anyone else see this? If this is the case, I imagine it would be nearly impossible to make a resin match.

      I wonder if they are French Resin? They sort of look like it, from some photos.

    10. Thank you for explaining:) I went back and looked at the picture and you're right. It looks like there aren't any joints in the armature or the legs whereas others do have it.

      I also went back to the pictures of the Flower Elves and I am happy they do have the joints in the arms and legs. It looks pretty ingenious how the leaves are placed just perfectly so the arms can still bend well. The sculpting of the arms is wonderful. My daughter doesn't like the fact that they are green, but I think the whole concept is pretty creative. I explained to her that the hair was the flower, the body was the stem (so had to be green), the leaves on the arms are leaves on the stems.

      Looking back over Rainman's pictures, it looks like the inner bud on Rose might come out so you can change the eyes.

      i really like the yellow flower elf, i'm not so good with flowers, does anyone know what kind of flower that might be?

      edit: oh, funny, i got tulips for my birthday yesterday, yellow ones, and i was just looking at them and thinking is she maybe a yellow tulip?

    14. I have it on good authority (Ms. Cholong) that the Flower Elves are about the same height as Alice (pig) and they take 12 mm eyes.

      Since they will be displayed at IDEX, I will get good pictures and details on them.
