I'm thinking about getting one of these for my birthday this year. Any idea how early the order should be placed? My birthday is all the way back in December. Should I be worried about these retiring before December? I didn't see anything indicating they were limited or so. I'm very new though so I don't know how long dolls are usually sold for.
6-8 weeks out if you order directly though resinsoul. They haven't ever sold limited as far as I know.
Thank you. I'm glad to hear I'm in no rush. Would be awful if they sold out just before my birthday. I'm debating between winter and autumn. I kind of like the solemn look on autumn. Gonna have to look around to see if anyone has ordered her~

Oh my he's very pretty. Is that the company face-up or a custom one? I do like the longer ears, how did you end up ordering them? I do adore the fact this sculpt seems to be fit for any gender.
This is the company faceup.. I just emailed Sun at Resinsoul and asked if they could put the longer ears on the Autumn sculpt and they had no problem doing so. I love the deertaurs.. they aren't as cartoonish as luts or others I've seen and I like the proportions.

Do you remember the 80s My little ponies? For a short period of time they actually had clothes for the ponies, usually dresses, shoes to go over their feet and "bracelets" for their legs. Going off my memory of those, I'm going to be making dresses for my doll... which will be very interesting, being that the ponies clothes all Velcroed in the front. Stuff that I've seen made for centaurs? Mostly tops and then like... a skirt that doesn't cover the horse butt or a frilly saddle type thing with occasnoial leg warmer things. All cool... but DRESSES!!!
Ahh still need one of these. I hope they end up making msd ones as well. I might need a second job if they do cause ill have no money left XD
If you do this and somehow work it out, could you post some patterns? All of this stuff sounds really cute. I'm totally gonna consider leg warmers for my autumn I'm eventually gonna get. Sounds so very cute. Does anyone have any clue how well the centaurs pose?
After I move I plan to make my girl a fur tube top type thing and a waist wrap for the transitional area ^_^

@Lynn Nexus I'm sorry, I really wish I could post mine! The head makes him off-topic, otherwise I'd be sharing him constantly. Here's a recent picture on my instagram though. I've finished making him some horns, and my next step is to either accessorise him a bit more, or to do his body blushing - whichever I get the supplies for first!
I relate! I feel like the wait for my deertaur was one of the worst waits I've had, because it's so exciting to have a taur body at 1/6 size. I kind of wish I had an excuse to get another...!
I usually try to forget that I've ordered a doll after I order it, that way I don't have continual anticipation. I mean a month is a long time to be freaking out excited... I only made it 2 weeks with the whole "Forgetting" thing the longer the wait the more frequently I've been spazzing about it. It has been one of my 2 worst waits. I had a terrible wait with my RS Rong, and I just remember that it was bad, I can't really compare it to this cus it's been a long time since that wait... But yea... I love the little centaur babies, now if they just make me some damn mermaid tails I'd be set for like... life. My little taur is gonna be a dust elemental so she's crazy colors and I'm just BLURG! So excited!
@Lynn Nexus Haha, for me it's because it's a short wait I think. Other dolls I've ordered are a 6-12 months kind of deal, so the fact that Resinsoul are super fast actually makes the wait a little worse. XD That's really cool! I can't wait to see your colourful taur! Also I have never had any need for a mermaid doll, but if they happened to bring out 1/6 mermaid tails: well I would develop a need very quickly.
