I was trying to update my doll blog with her arrival, in more detail, but it's spent all night flipping out and failing to post, so I'm not sure if that'll work out... but I'm just so pleased with her!

 

I really love these deertaurs!

This is probably a long shot but I don't suppose anyone who has a deertaur also has a soom teenie gem and could take a picture of them next to each other?

I have a soom Lilid head on the way to me and I'm wondering if a hybrid would work, not sure if the head would look too big on the deertaur body.

 

@Loganberry, I don't have one (yet), but they look like they're the same general scale and proportions to RS's other tinies, which are considerably different in scale to regular Yo-SDs. A TG head on one of them will be bobble-headed at best, and probably won't fit at all.

I don't have any pictures of my RS tinies next to either my LTFs or my TGs, but I have this picture with Bei standing next to DollPamm Arubi, whose head is basically the same size (they take the same size wig). And this picture has a LTF standing next to the same Arubi; it's a little tough to see with the wig, but you should be able to tell that his head is noticeably larger. He takes the same size wig as my TGs.

Hopefully someone does have both and can show you a more direct comparison to confirm it, but my suspicion is that it's not going to work, unfortunately.

 

I think you're right. I sort of thought this myself but really wanted to be wrong. Thanks very much the photos did really help. It just wouldn't look right.

I just skimmed the whole thread again and didn't see the answer, but do we know if the Zi bust works on these cuties?

 

GORGEOUS! If only they had unicorn horns... xD they're so reasonably priced too!!

 

Now that's something that could easily be fixed definitely one if if not the easiest mods to do.

 

I have pretty much no experience modding or with crafts in general ;v; I'd probably have to commission someone!

 

If you get a horn you could literally just glue it on with school glue for a non permanent mod ^_^ (looking on Etsy just now, it seems there are people who already sell BJD unicorn horns )

still a long way to go with my little Spring (Juniper) but she has her wig from Alices now! Her antlers are OK but fall off quite easily with the wig on. I've put smaller eyes in too - I forget the size but a good 2mm smaller than the default ones. I want to buy her some green or brown eyes but had these lying around - they'll do for now. I am still amazed at the quality of these dolls - she's really awesome to handle in person, and a lot more manageable than the luts yul I had - I really love her - well done Resinsoul

My Spring is on it's way, but it'll be shipped off almost immediately to get a faceup and blushing (I don't know how to do that xD) This will be my second doll, and I'm so excited!!
I was wondering what the eye size of them is, I can't seem to find it anywhere..

Man, I first saw these awhile back and they instantly clicked with me; I've been really tempted to get one recently, it would be my first doll. Originally I wanted the Autumn, but much preferred Winter's ears, but now that I've found out I can get the deer ears on Autumn's face, I'm super stuck xD I love Winter's expression and droopy eyes, but I feel Autumn's thinner face and cheekbones are more appealing... I really can't decide hahah. Also, I was looking at a few wigs on Luts since I liked a pair of eyes I saw over there and was wondering would this doll fit a 5.5-6 in. wig or a 6-7 in. wig better?

 

I seem to recall hearing that Luts wigs aren't stretchy like other brands of wig, so it would be a risk getting one of their wigs if it's too small. I got mine from Alices sized for 1/6 dolls, which according to their website is 6-7 in. but I did need to give it a good stretch to get it on her head 1/6 Wigs In Stock : Alice's Collections

 

I am very happy with the 12 mm eyes I put in my Autumn. I'm kinda picky about how the eyes fit in the sockets so while 14 mm may work, they don't look quite right to me.

I have a 5/6" LeekeWorld wig. It's pretty stretchy and a fits tightly.
