yes I did! I wanted to see em all side by side ideally so I could work out the differences between them beside the ears. It's really hard to tell with wigs and faceups and different colours.

 

I'm kind of sad that my doll won't have the floppy deer ears but I think the Bei head is a little smaller than the others which I like and has elf ears at least.

 

I love the new dolls. I want one as well

 

How long ago did you order your doll? If it was recent, you might be able to tweak your order... You can actually ask them to make a Bei head with the ears. That's what I did with my doll. I wanted a Long head with Dan ears and they did it for me for the price of a regular Long head (I'm pretty sure it was regularly priced... Gotta recheck the emails to know for sure).

EDIT: I rechecked my email and actually, I'm pretty sure they gave me a $10 discount on the entire thing. xD Unless my calculations are incorrect... But I can't figure out how much the head was separately. Anyway, it might be too late if you've already paid but considering that was only late last week, it might still be worth asking.

 

I've heard of someone on the forums sending them those paint samples you usually get for free at the hardware store to match the resin colours they wanted. You should ask them about it!

 

I'm trying to not buy a ton more dolls but I'm adding one of these to my wish list. With my recent obsession with Kelpies (waterhorses of Scottish legends) I keep picturing a little Kelpie themed centaur. Must... Resist... Buying urge...

 

Its officially been a month since I put my order in... I think they are a bit behind though so I hope it gets here by my birthday.. July 27

 

I've been waiting for not quite a month and a half, so hopefully I'll hear something soon and be able to take pic spam

 

I only paid mine off on 6/23 and her deer and human parts are two different colors which will probably take longer but I can't wait! I could really use a pick me up after the doll body I bought second hand more than a month ago was lost by USPS (and I haven't been able to get any word on the insurance money yet)

lol.. It is just one yosd so it is pretty small.. lol.. My order is just as complicated. I ordered Autumn with Winters ears.. deer parts in dark tan human parts in normal skin with black hooves. I am really looking forward to her arrival and yet I am feeling a bit anxious. I have never had a four legged doll friend before.. lol.. I worry that she is awesome in mind more than in reality.

 

Aw no, that's awful, I'm so sorry your package was lost! I hope you get the insurance back, that's terrible luck.

My deer body is in three different colours too, I think many people's are. It could be what is contributing to the longer waiting time. Plus I bet they're a bit more complicated to string. I have plans to immediately dissemble mine and do some restringing (and maybe hot glueing), but I am a bit nervous about how the stringing will go.

 

I worry about that too. >_<' I used to have a centaur doll and changed my mind. And now I'm trying a centaur again.

 

I really wonder how they look in comparison to Luts HDFtaurs and TDFtaurs! If I bought one I would be able to compare.

I can see myself getting one but I haven't cared to do any doll purchases for quite a while now. It feels so much better to go the slow path and not rush through my bjd wishlist like I once used too. Makes me look so much more forward to my next order!

When I get my little deer-taur I am thinking about doing some reshaping of the legs with the dremel. Right now they are a little too human looking for my taste and I would prefer them a little thinner with knobby knees

 

@Nefla that sounds like an awesome idea! I'd sort of like to do something similar, though I don't know if I feel confident enough to do so yet. Mine is intended to be a goat, so it would definitely be better if the legs were more knobbly!
