Hello everyone---I needed an outlet to express a little of my frustration >.<
I should've sprayed a heavier coat of MSC on Hua Cheng the eye patch managed to stain his forehead and cheekbone, just a month into displaying. Never touched the patch since fixing it on his wig.

This and some staining on his wrist (which I don't mind, I scrubbed it clean because I was prepping it for his tattoo)....but his faceup (((

I was too focused on my other RD boy I didn't check until today.

SIGH.

(I managed to take out most of the stain via magic eraser but alas, some more force is needed to completely erase and....I don't even want to because I might scrub off paint)

 

aki7, sadly, its usual problem for RD outfits etc.
I have RD MoYu from JX3 with his original outfit , and usually I not leave bjds in dark/colorful outfits, but for photoshoot I dressed him 2 hours before going out. When I come back and take off his outfit I noticed few spots from his pantaloons and his 'shirt'.

I've been burned by vinyl doll staining so I'm stressed out by it and probably overreacting lol. Sigh, there's no perfect way of keeping them safe except wrap them in ridiculous amount of saran wrap and body stockings, I guess T_T

 

aki7, yeah. Same, u need to be careful with some type of accessories. For example I have The Judge of Hell , and he have a crown, which very sticky, I never used this, but I know someone who wore a crown and it stuck to his wig :/
Idk why they using this strange material for bjds.

 

Someday i might spring for a lucky bag sale, but I'm always worried I'll get one i don't want xD

And oh noo, that's such a bummer about the eye patch staining!

 

The price for a lucky bag is extremely tempting - especially for a 70cm body!

The Black Friday sale has some fullsets that were rereleased. The Virgo fullset is already sold out, I'm guessing these are going to be limited quantities? Or will there be future stock before the end of the sale?

EDIT: I see some do, in fact, have limited quantities so I guess that answers my question!

 

A friend of mine got a Xun Yu (naked) from the Taobao shop lucky bag. They cost less compared to the EN site (as the case is always) so it wasn't too bad of a deal for her. Ringdoll was the top sale yesterday

 

I‘ve been thinking of getting a boy doll, and the lucky bag deal was too good! (And loving that they’re in stock!) I went for a Grown Lucky Bag. I’m hoping I get the body I want. I’m hoping for the 3 or 5!

I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't get another until all of these guys have faceups, but it is so difficult.

Aah, I'm so sorry! That's horrible ): I hope you're able to fix him! That solidifies my plan to make him my own eyepatch from fabric which will be washed a million times beforehand. When I made Xie Lian some dark brown knee socks, I obsessively washed the fabric three or so times to hopefully keep it from staining, which has worked as of now as far as I know. I've heard of people removing stains by using acne cream, but I can't say how well it works since I've never tried it.

 

Also, I saw this Ringdoll sculpt, and he totally gives me Mobei-Jun energy. Too bad he's sold out, and there's still no Shang Qinghua I've fallen in love with. The Judge of Hell (Basic Doll)

 

I am SO SAD they didn't have him when i ordered my MBJ doll!! He really would be such a good base!

 

I really ought've done that the moment i took everything out of his box x.x
I managed to scrub the mark off gently so all good but I'm hypervigilant now that i'm sewing clothes for him lol
I've used acne cream it for vinyl dolls so it works but it acts like a bleach and since its cream...it might dissolve the faceup sealant on resin but for the arms, it was okay since sealant or paint on it.

OMG he would've been perfect!
