ringdoll heads are so tiny lol
RD sent me a grown lucky bag instead of a teenage one, cool i saved some money but sad i didn't get what i ordered

 

Ah, that's too bad! Are you going to say something to them? Even if you want to keep the bag, I wonder if they'd send some sort of perk/give a partial refund or something...
The heads are small, but the company unfortunately said that the wig apparently doesn't fit on 8 inch heads for a lot of customers (which is... strange) so I guess I'll be waiting the extra 2 ish weeks for the new wig and for it all to be shipped. Hopefully it'll come in soon!

 

@Alex Secord Designs i emailed ringdoll to let them know but i doubt they will do anything plus the shipping is WAY to expensive for me to send it back so now i just need to figure out if i want to keep the ashford or if i'll sell him

 

@Reslie - I definitely second sueding the body. It's so nice aesthetically, but half the joints just don't work.

I would have tried for one if I had the money this year. Goodbye doll budget. My Elzevir is gorgeous at least, maybe I should just give him more attention.

 

They should 100% fix it if it's wrong on there end.

 

Hello. I got some heeled feet from RD and am wondering what shoes or where can I buy shoes with heels for them? All that I've found are shoes with heels are for girl dolls thus they are smaller. Name of stores or a brand would definitely help. (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

 

You could potentially try Iplehouse? I know their girls have feet on the bigger side, so in theory they might fit RD feet?

 

Thanks! I'm gonna have to check that out. I just realized after receiving the feet that I don't really see 70cm dolls with heeled shoes / boots unless they are made by their owners (which I don't know how to do).

@Aliya no problem, i had the same problem finding heels for bigger feet it can be super frustrating haha

 

I checked the measurements and sadly, they are a bit small than the heeled feet of the 70cm Ringdoll. I guess I have to find a person who can make them at this point. Hahaha!

 

Have y'all seen that RD is now going to be wiring their big dolls as standard? How exciting! The 04 body could use that for sure. They even made a comment to say they may consider selling wire for customers who have already bought RD dolls.

 

I've seen the announcement both on Twitter and Instagram and it was really cool. I don't own any dolls with wires so I'm not sure how much it would improve a doll. All I know is it DOES help so I'm excited to try it when and IF I get another doll from RD.

 

I've wired dolls myself in the past and it's helped a lot. I thought it was pretty cool.

 

The wiring service is already being offered in China, and alot of doll owners seem to like this service.

 

Oh god, please, I appreciate if RD does. And acknowledging they arent the best posers is such an important step.

I'm close to tears trying to pose my Zhou Yu for three whole days this week. He nearly broke my cabinet glass while I was away after he decided to ignore his bracket stand and bend over. I'm close to giving up and hybriding him to a different body at this point if I didn't read about this today.

I really hope they sell or offer it to existing customers! Wonder if xie lian's reissue will have it??

 

If they do sell the wire, I wonder how that will work. Hopefully it'll come with directions and they'll make a video about it liek they do some of the clothing and wig styling. Xie Lian desperately needs it!

 

well, guess I'm the odd one out who doesn't like wiring dolls. I live literally across the street from the ocean so rusting is an issue I've encountered with wired dolls, well, perhaps corroding is more accurate. Humid salty air is not so great on any metal and I've had really good luck with just using thicker than usual elastic in my dolls

 

ringdoll said owners can request not to have the wiring if not desired, especially in your case!
