Say hello to the new MXTX IP from RD! He got showcased today (?) in China and looks like Wei Wuxian will be released as a 75cm doll.
Which means the Wangxian pair might get a body update to the 05???

Oh looks like his price might be less than Xie Lian's even. That's interesting, given he's on the largest body, which by itself usually goes for over $500 usd

One could hope so! But forreals, YLZ is my favorite version of Wei Ying always

I also think he might be a little less than Hua Cheng considering he has less bling save for the Token (which is CQL and not donghua lol) and his flute but idk if he will hit XL's price . Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, did Huahua cost so much because of E'ming???????
But imho, the price diff for the EN dealers might not be too far off from Huahua... He's still around 4k RMB for the CN market so I'm not keeping my hopes up too much if buying from EN Ringdoll site.

 

ohh I didn't realise Hua Cheng was around the same price in China. That's interesting! he's got about the same level of accessories and clothing details as Xie Lian it looks like, so if he's somewhere between their prices that'd make sense

So the display wwx has the jointed hands. I wonder if that will be a default for him or an add on

 

Oh wow, the new Wei Wuxian looks so beautiful I think jointed hands would be an add on, I don't think I've seen jointed hands as default for any company. It would be cool if that was the case though! Also, the possibility of a new Lan Wangji has me excited! But, oh, my poor wallet...

I wonder if they will do a different version of him though at this point, since they went for the Yiling period for Wei Wuxian. Maybe a full regalia Lan Wangji

 

Wow, he looks great! I think he honestly looks way better than the old WWX- he was nice, but something about his face was just slightly uncanny for me unfortunately.

It feels very accurate to the trends we see with every company that MDZS gets multiple releases, TGCF gets one, and SVSSS doesn't exist... Though I don't at all blame them, seeing as MDZS and TGCF are faaaar more successful.

 

If I were to buy him, I would never pay for it what I paid for Hua Cheng, Hua Cheng's E'ming is just a plastic artifact, but all the metal gadgets, the high quality of his complex outfit, and the wig already take up a lot of the budget, his bracelets are so heavy and his jewels so delicate, they are worth everything you pay. The tiger seal and the flute cannot be worth that much; and YLZ's hanfu is pretty simple like Xie Lian's, so I would really appreciate it if they don't put the prices through the roof It consoles me that it is body 05 because at least that is a good body and it is more canon for YLZ version

with a photo facing forward, it does look like XZ.. but knowing what we get is factory paint, I'm not expecting him to pop off like in the photo ^^l
I agree on the pricing. I would've been a little okay if he was priced a bit lower than Hua Cheng (despite some of my misgivings on some of the accessories, at least most of them were well-done and on RD's best body.

Wangji will probably follow since he'd be out of scale beside WWX

Now... if only Ringdol could consider selling separate outfits, that would be cool.

I'm looking forward to see more photos of him and hopefully the new Lan Wangji, too.

 

With how pretty all the 75cm boys have been and the new wwx looks, new lwj whenever they make him is going to be a severe challenge for my wallet xD

 

It makes me laugh a bit that on the teaser pic that Ringdoll posted on twitter there's the stamp "pending licensor approval". Maybe that's not going to be the definitive version of Wei Wuxian?

 

There will probably be some final tweaks, maybe to the faceup or accessories would be my guess.

 

It happened with HuaLian as well; I remember that Hua Cheng's 1st teaser looked ugly AF, I didn't want to get him until he was released, the first picture I saw of him in his final version made me lose all my self-control over my savings
