Yes, it seems like it will be their next one.
The person who took the picture said that it looks like he will be released next, but ringdoll has not confirmed.
I feel you though, part of me wants them to release him asap but my wallet wants him to be pushed back a little

 

My wallet wants them to release him next year. But I'm curious what his size will be. That sign said 75? But this WWX is 78? XD it will look off. Then my temptation will be less.

 

This is where their measurements are off. WWX is on the RGM5 body, which is listed as 75 cm, but the measurements they give for WWX on his ordering page are 78. Similar promo images for WWX also listed him as 75cm, so it's just some inconsistencies in how they list the measurements

 

Ohhh as long as they are comparable in height my wallet is in danger.

 

It had lots of options but every one, at least translated, was "naked baby" so I assumed that meant no face-up. Does that just mean it comes without the clothes?

 

That means it's just the blank doll with no face-up, outfit or accessories generally

 

Hello! I'm thinking about getting a Ringdoll, been eyeing Ashford 3.0 since Ringdoll is having a sale going on right now. I was wondering what is everyone's favorite sculpt?

Yeah that's what I thought. I didn't see any options to buy it with a face-up even during the sale period,.

 

Shipping would be STEEP depending on where you live, but I believe he may still be in stock on Ami Ami? Could be worth a look. It's too bad that they don't offer basic dolls in more skin tones. I know it's probably because casting is a pain and some skin tones are less in demand, but Guo Jia is my goal shell for making one of my next dolls and I'd really like him in wheat or tan for the character (Tanjiro from Demon Slayer), particularly because skin tone variation adds some more display interest and I already have normal skin (Zenitsu, JN sculpt) and milk skin (Giyuu, Kim sculpt). But I also don't care enough/don't feel confident enough to dye it myself, haha. Seems like Guo Jia is only available in white and normal, which is unsurprising, I just hope he doesn't get discontinued before December since I probably won't be able to purchase until around then...

 

You could always commission someone else for the dye? Others might have more experience and you could still get what you want.

 

Dying is actually not too bad! it is time consuming though, and takes up space for a doll that size.

You could try asking a dealer if he's available in their new tan color. I think they discontinued wheat, but the new tan might be a possibility. The worst they can do is say no?

 

True! I always struggle remembering what colors are discontinued, since I honestly thought milk was discontinued until I got a doll in milk from a lucky bag. I may reach out to them when I have the money and see if it’s possible.

 

Hi everyone! I know it's a long shot but does anyone own and can compare a little monica doll in normal or at least have an idea which of Ringdoll's colors would be the closest?
I'm planning to hybrid but don't know if any of them match.

 

Anyone have experience with the Ringdoll carrier they make? It’s not available on their international store it seems, but it is on Taobao. I kind of want it for my dolls since I got the Dollmore double doll carrier, but it doesn’t fit two RGM-4 boys (so no hope of fitting any larger body) and the quality was pretty bad, it’s falling apart and I’ve only had it since December, and it’s only been used once or twice. But the Ringdoll carrier also seems pretty big (a plus for fitting dolls I guess), and I’m hesitant because I’m worried that it’d be too big to be a carry on for a flight, for instance. I also don’t want to spend the money if it would just fall apart immediately, or doesn’t protect the dolls.
