I shared this pic in the waiting room, but figured I'd share here in case anyone might be interested. c:

Not the best pic, but look at all the colors! Everyone but Padro, Dracula head, Red King head, and K head (wheat) were in-stock and that's why they have question marks by their dates (all were purchased 2020-2022, with the body Dracula's on being the first one purchased - ordered in late 2020 & arrived in early 2021). Pardro, Dracula, and K (wheat) have question marks due to not knowing when they arrived at the dealer's. (really wish Ringdoll had dated CoAs) Red King doesn't look as pink in the pic as he does in real life. He's ridiculously pink in real life lol

I love seeing Viktor with those lovely flowers.

 

My boy Zhou Yu arrived today and I didn't expect how small his head was compared to that girthy neck LOL

I did some wig testing to see if Yan Wushi's character works and I am so pleased to say he is

I finished him two days ago (but I sliiiightly screwed up his body blushing so that needs a do-over lol!). I have his hands blushed and his were sculped beautifully

I'm stumped with the eyes though. I'm using a 14mm small iris (6mm?) and his eyes are so dark unlike the promo photos. I'm wondering what kind and size I should look for or if there are molds that are even smaller that I should consider if I am making my own eyes?

Ooooh what a gorgeous face up! I really love the detail in his lips.
as for eyes, I find 6mm irises are too big sometimes depending on eye shape and the colour of the eye itself. Are you able to locate anywhere that makes eyes with irises of 5mm? Or perhaps try a lighter colour?

he is wearing a pair of low dome, silver 6mm iris eyes. I have yet to find 5mms---do you have recommendations, please?

He looks pretty nice! No dressed photos from them yet, it seems like. They also will attach lashes, so they will be answering another of my questions!

 

I have a question. These guys come in different sizes the Grown ones and the clothes they offer really are a puzzle to know what suits fit which guy. How does one know what their guy can wear outside the full set they come with?

 

I'd say just check measurements of the clothing, message sellers if necessary. The measurements aren't all too different either, so if you have sewing knowledge, tailoring is possible if you get something a little too big.

 

Thank you, but I was mainly asking to find clothes for my Venitu. After looking at the biggest guy Ringdoll makes I can see none of their clothes will work.

 

I think the biggest Ringdoll body RGM5 is pretty similar to Soom's Idelian in size, if that helps. Some clothing sellers will have clothes marked as 75 Uncle or 75 Idelian for sizes, which should fit fairly closely to a 75-80 cm

 

does anyone know if ringdoll normal resin matches either soom or volks normal? i want to use the 75cm body for a hybrid

 

Older Soom normal matches neither the Ringdoll normal nor the wheat of my new dolls.

 

Current Ringdoll normal is pretty pink, so you'd probably have to do some color matching. Though, I don't have recent Soom or Volks to compare to, just older (and RD is too pink).

I posted a pic on page 6 that has recent RD normal in it. Depending on how dark the head is RD Milk might be a closer match.

 

I have a question, has anyone attempted to replace the C hook on their RD heads? I really want to blush my boy but doing him strung is just next to impossible and idk if it needs much force to pry open and be replaced with a different S hook?

 

The best way is to remove the feet, unstring him, then you can replace the C hook to an S hook. C hooks are strong suckers.
